Don't forget Freddie Mercury. It may have only been used in a trailer, but I doubt he would've liked how one of his songs was used for this straight pride parade of a show.

they broke up the one queer couple that had off-screen and literally gave no reason for it other than that it would've been "unrealistic" for them to stay together, they only introduced one half of said ship in season four and she got like three minutes of screentime in total in the whole show and no arc or importance outside of that relationship whatsoever, and this relationship (between two girls) was used as a plot device for the shitty excuse of a sexuality arc of the only other queer character (a gay guy) who was pretty much just forced to accept that in order to find love and a sense of belonging he had to move away not only from his hometown but also from all of his friends and family, and also he'd just have to live with the fact that his feelings for his best friend that he had throughout the whole show never got addressed and the issues that came with it never got resolved and his possible future queer joy was left to the imagination even though his queer suffering was highlighted time and time again on-screen and he was basically reduced to it, leading to his character being sidelined in the show that literally started and was supposed to end with him... but whatever.

i genuinely don’t think people understand how much pride means to people because i’m at the airport and i just saw a group of flight attendants walk past wearing rainbow lanyards and i- i almost immediately started tearing up. guys. it takes so little for someone to feel loved.

Actually, you are enough. Even if you don’t work. Or study. Or go out. Or have friends. Or have family. You’re enough because you exist and your existence is enough to be enough because you are not a product. You are not a sum of output. You are not a task to complete. But because you are something the universe wanted and put here even if you’ll never understand why. Somewhere in the cosmos your existence makes a difference, even if it’s not the way others existences do.

I love people who have specific characters that are their "no one understands this character like me. not even the writers." because they're genuinely not joking. the way they understand those specific characters is so profound that it'll change your entire veiw.

saying that will "didn't earn his coming out in s4" is homophobic. queer people don't "earn" their coming out. it's not a reward for being a good person or a "good gay person". that is not how coming outs work. people come out on their own terms. when they want, to who they want, and how they want to. the fact that they said that and then will is forced to come out because of vecna but he apparently "earned" that to be his coming out is homophobic.
