my main advice for people who want to make things but feel like they can't because it won't be good enough or it won't be realized enough or it won't be "enough" period is to just make what you can. don't want to commit to writing a full 100k fic for the idea you've daydreamed about for 6 months and are very attached to? make text posts informally infodumping about it. don't want to spend 100s of hours scripting, drawing, coloring, and lettering a comic but still want to see the character designs you have in your mind? draw them out of context! you don't need to make something finished to make something worthwhile.
