stevemandile: Wrigley was so excited last night to meet Taylor Swift!

Last night Sixwire was the house band for Tight Ends & Friends, an annual event hosted by NFL legends Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Greg Olsen. We backed up about 10 artists including Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay, HARDY, Jon Pardi, Brett Young and several others. But it ended with an appearance from Taylor.

I've met Taylor a couple times before. I'm here to tell you, she's as nice and friendly as any artist I've been around. She took us back to her dressing room so we could spend a little quiet time together. She immediately introduced herself to Wrigley. After Sixwire got a quick photo, she called Wrigley over to make sure she got a shot as well.

Taylor was very encouraging to Wrigley about her singing after I told her that Wrigley is in her 6th straight musical where she is playing the lead character. Taylor said, "That's how I started!! Keep it up and keep going!!"

❤️Wrigley has gotten to meet a lot of amazing people in her life. But I think tonight may be the most memorable of all.

johnhowardbass: So this "little thing" happened last night... #Sixwire was the band for the #tightenduniversity show at the Pinnacle in Nashville and along with all the great artists we backed up, the night was capped off with superstar #LaineyWilson (who crushed it) bringing #TaylorSwift onstage to close out the show with duet of "Love Story". Wow, definitely a career moment... Taylor couldn't have been nicer and more gracious as she brought us into her dressing room afterwards to chat and get a few pictures. She even thanked us for learning her songs! This is one I'll remember and I guess I have a new title to add - #Swiftie !!

For a second year in a row, Taylor attends Tight End University. The annual event, shortened to TEU, gathers tight ends from across the league for a week of events ranging from training, to bonding, to a musical event. 

This is Taylor’s second year attending TEU. You might recall when Taylor attended last year she wore a charming greeeeeeeeeeeen gingham set by Hunter Bell. This year, she opted for a sweet yellow jacquard mini dress for another “Blondes In Yellow” moment following that lovely Oscar de la Renta performance gown she wore to the Toy Story 5 premiere. The pattern and sheen on the fabric of her Simkhai dress reminds me of the vintage-tinged dresses she’d most often reach for in the RED era. Indeed, that red lip completes the picture! What brings it to the present are those fun crystal heels which coordinate in shade to her dress. Taylor has worn a few Aquazzura pairs in recent outings, but this particular style might look especially familiar as she wore the bronze version to a wedding in New York in May. 

The concert portion of TEU is to be held tomorrow (June 23). Might she reprise last year’s performance? We’ll find out!
