Hey I need someone to be a hater at me for a second for context im one of those oasis fans that follow you so that gives context for the stuff I’m usually into.

I didn’t really connect with project Hail Mary that much like I never really liked it but idk why and my best friend absolutely loved it and we were talking about why I didn’t and why I didn’t connect with the message or whatever and idk i kinda blanked. So if you Can and want to be a hater please tell me why it sucks and why I’m not insane

unfortunately i may not be of much use since i did actually enjoy the movie/almost fell into a hyperfixation spiral about it 😭 i just didn’t think it was like best picture worthy, but it was a fun watch. ultimately my main issues with it are that i dislike the fandom/popular fanon around it and andy weir has said some stupid shit that pisses me off a lot, plus the speed that rocky and grace figured out how to communicate kind of breaks my immersion every time i rewatch it because omfg they are NOTTTT figuring out full communication that fast be so for fucking reallll
