To me, this feels like more evidence of my theory about Tottie possibly controlling Fujimine and not the other way around. I don't see any other reason why Fujimine would leave Tricaputo.
Unless, of course, the Witches Association was more conservative in the past...
We did see past Amadoro in a very traditional dress. Maybe there was a change with Moneygold came in? (If this is the case, the Moneygold slander must stop. Come on she let everyone slay, we can't be too hard on her.)

I think I've said it before somewhere, but I'm pretty sure that Ichi is half Majik.
I was thrilled we got the Madoka story-line because it answered a lot of questions. Except, I hadn't settled enough into the world of ItW to have those questions. Like, I would have asked the question later on in the story, especially since, so far, most Majiks hadn't been humanoid with a few exceptions. But I was thrilled that it was answered so early, before the question had even posed itself.
And confused. I questioned why we got this kind of arc so early. I think this is the reason. Nishi wants this idea in your head so it makes sense to question Ichi.
Two things with this:
A) This is foreshadowing - Ichi is not fully human and so him finding his identity amongst humans will be a key point later.
If Ichi is the child of a Majik and a witch (or even a Majik and a regular human - we haven't seen if Majiks can carry children, only that they can impregnate humans) then I'm betting they didn't leave him with a normal dagger.
B) There is a gem at the bottom of Ichi's dagger - I'm going to bet that dagger 'contains' a Majik.
(I have been corrected - it's Inazuri on the dagger. I forgot that was a thing)
Another thing:
Fujimine is not saying this because of the Mentor-Pupil pact Desscaras and Ichi made. It's tactical information, sure, but it's not something that would have made Haytee look like that.
One could say that Haytee is embarrassed about being intrigued by a human when they only have one mission. This could be embarrassment, but I feel Fujimine would tease a bit more. Here, she just looks like she found out some information that she can use, and Haytee knows this.
I've had a feeling for a while, since a little before the introduction of Majikeepers. What do you notice here?
Remember what I said earlier - none of these Majiks look human. The exceptions are at the bottom:
Hitsugi was pretending to be a human for espionage purposes. His actual form appears to be this sphinx/chimera-like thing:
And Chrono was purposefully taking on a human form to be close to Minnie and to conceive a child. Even in that human form, he had things that made him look inhuman, like feathers. Same with Bakugami, who has larger ears and oddly shaped hands and feet.
But we've never seen Haytee take anything other than a human form
And he looks like a perfectly normal human.
I've wondered for a while now if WHM isn't a Majik at all - perhaps he's a Majik-human hybrid, like Madoka and possibly like Ichi. This could be what Fujimine figured out.
I say I thought about this with the Majikeepers, because something struck me with his staff, Cynosura, - it's a lot like the Majikeeper's Sacred Treasures. I don't think they're the same - there would have to be a lot more reveals for me to make that claim - but I think it's curious. We don't see any other Majik holding a weapon like this.
It's also odd this lines up with the first appearance of the WHM 15 years ago, which appears to be Ichi's age, though he could be older or younger. A lot of people have suggested that this is part of the prophecy?
A) I didn't even notice the detailing on Ichi's jacket. That's really nice, Usazaki is so on-point with these details. They don't have to do all of these intricate details but they does and I love it. Art is up there w/ Hoshino's stuff.
Also, I guess we're getting a rescue arc - it will be nice for Ichi to realize he has adults / friends he can depend on!
B) I have some questions about Fujimine's powers. At first, it made sense to me that she was able to win over Tottie with her abilities, but others have proposed that this IS Tottie's ability. Which makes sense - Amadoro spreads the love poison with the fight and everyone falls for it. Also, it's in line with Tottie's personality and desire to have friends.
But then I thought more about that…this is such a potent ability, I'm wondering if Tottie actually…wanted to get captured? Was this Majik actually manipulating the Mantinel Witches for some reason? Is she manipulating Fujimine?
I thought it was a little too nice of this Majik to sacrifice it's freedom just in case someone captured it or it hurt others…I mean, think about it. Tottie is able to make all these witches think they're friends and manipulate them - this provides her safety from both witches and other Majik. But she either gets bored, or she's a Human-hater and this is has been her plan, and decides to mind-control Fujimine into violently capturing it and has been mind-controlling her since. We have seen that Majik can take control of humans (Uroro w/ Ichi) when they're in a vulnerable state, but what if a Majik can induce this vulnerable state themself? What if they never let go of control as Uroro did.
I can't wait for Tricaputo to appear. I have a feeling, like many others, that she's involved but probably won't pop in until the last few chapters of this arc. She feels to me like the type of person who works behind the scenes / has others do the dirty work for her. She'll pop in at the end of the arc and give some exposition as to what actually happened when Fujimine captured Tottie.
Okay, after this recent chapter one of five things can happen:
1. Nothing happens. For some reason Yor doesn't remember Captain Chadwick. A big nothing Burger. Would be kind of disappointed but not surprised if this happened.
2. Yor does remember Captain Chadwick, but either has had a drink already (I noticed how many people were drunk at this party ) or doesn't state outright that she remembers him. In this scenario she realizes Yuri is SSS and there goes that reveal. I don't know why the reveal would happen this way so I don't expect this.
3. This ends up actually turning out the way Loid expects. In this scenario he has to be really really sneaky. This will end up biting him in the ass later no matter what.
4. Yor does remember Captain Chadwick but thinks she is the target of interrogation. Similar situation to this chapter but she does worse at it than Loid - comedy ensues. Later on this may cause her to be suspicious of both Loid and her brother. In the case of her brother she will think that he is SSS but not be sure. In the case of Loid, she will think that he is setting her up against the SSS, leading to some drama. This may take TwixYor back a few steps. I think this would be the most engaging and on brand option tbh.
5. Yor either does not see or doesn't recognize Captain Chadwick for whatever reason. She is oblivious to the fact that everyone here is SSS. She is stressed out after a mission from the garden or whatever. However, the group stops interrogating Loid and starts interrogating Yor because someone either recognizes blood on her clothes or smells blood or something. Later, someone will mention this to Yuri, who will noticably get defensive but WILL file it away for later, recounting her coming home covered in blood in childhood or something. This will be the start of Yuri finding out about Yor. Loid will also notice and file it away for later.
This really is a wonderful development!!! Most engaged I've been with SpyxFamily all year!
No, but this was a funny chapter. Kinda like option one, so I was almost right, Yor doesn't remember him. Still somewhat unexpected. Still a nothing burger.
