BTS 2.0 tonight at SWIMSIDE with BTS
The quality??????????
Love the smirk at the end. Someone who worked on bad camera back in the day needs to educate Netflix on the correct way to film or guys.

2.0 — BTS COMEBACK LIVE (260321)
I’m not Christian, I don’t go to church anymore, and my pastor died, but when he was alive I’d sometimes go to his sermons and I remember one time he said “it feels good to hate, but we know that it isn’t allowed, so when we’re told that we’re allowed to hate someone we get so excited that we forget we’re supposed to love”, and if my humble atheist ass might borrow some church talk I’d like to perhaps submit that
BTS LYRICAL ARMOR
RM - The Hero
JIN - The Artist
SUGA - The Architect
J-HOPE - Sorigun (sori’ meaning sound and ‘gun’ meaning man. It refers to traditional folk performers in Korean history)
JIMIN - The Poet
V - Doryeong (a young sophisticated nobleman)
JUNGKOOK- The Vanguard
“Congress did nothing here. There was supposed to be a vote on the Ro Khanna-Thomas Massie War Powers Resolution next week. Congressional lethargy, which conceals political comfort with the war, provided time for Trump to ignore Congress entirely. I am not making a process critique. I am pointing out that this march to war was deliberate enough for politicians to have attempted to obstruct it and they did not. That is yet another sign of a necrotic political system and symptom of a dying empire. It’s a sick joke that Dario Amodei speaks about America’s democratic values and its authoritarian enemies. So, congratulations to generations of American and Israeli warmongers. You worked tirelessly to seed the bed for today. You made sure Bush’s son in 2002 rejected Iranian pledges of assistance with the War on Terror. You demanded time and time again that the U.S. military expand the Iraq occupation to attack the Iranians who exploited it to facilitate attacks on U.S. troops. You ginned up crisis after crisis over Iran’s nuclear program, and then rejected the 2015 diplomacy that verifiably ended it. You pretended that Iran was not the ground force that kicked ISIS out of Iraq under American air cover. You lied relentlessly and unconvincingly when insisting that you did not desire war. You did the same sort of thing the last time you got the war you wanted, which was Iraq, and which was an epochal disaster—the sort of epochal disaster that many people figured would spell your political marginalization.”

I don’t think I’m going to say much about everything Jungkook said on his live. I genuinely don’t think it’s necessary. His words speak for themselves, and adding layers of interpretation right now almost feels like noise. Sometimes the most respectful thing you can do as a fan is to actually listen and let what was said stand on its own.
What I do think is important to stress, once again, is that Jungkook knows exactly what he’s doing. He knows what he’s saying, why he’s saying it, and how he’s choosing to say it, especially when it comes to his relationship with the company and the system he works within. He is not naive. He is not being manipulated into speaking. He is a grown man with years of experience in one of the most demanding industries in the world.
A lot of people seem eager to project onto him. They either want him to be a victim with no agency or a rebel fighting some secret war. And the truth is probably much simpler and much more mature than that. When you do not understand the cultural and professional context of the Korean entertainment industry, it is very easy to misread things. People fill in the gaps with whatever narrative they already believe in.
Even after Jungkook explained himself clearly, there are still people on Twitter choosing to twist his words to fit their own agenda. That is what frustrates me the most. It is not criticism that bothers me. It is the selective hearing. It is people claiming to love and protect him while simultaneously refusing to take his words at face value.
He made it very clear that there are limitations. But limitations are not automatically oppression. In any profession, especially one as public as his, there are boundaries. Some of those boundaries exist to protect the artist. Sometimes it is not about being forbidden to speak. It is about understanding how easily your words can be distorted simply because of who you are. And the irony is that the reaction to his live proves that point. The twisting and the overanalysis happening right now are exactly why idols are often cautious.
What makes this moment interesting is the timing. We are a month away from a comeback. This is not random. Jungkook is fully aware of the spotlight that is about to intensify. He knows his words will be scrutinised even more closely. And yet he still chose honesty. That tells me confidence. That tells me clarity. It suggests he is comfortable enough in his position, in his career, and in his relationship with his team to speak openly.
BTS as a group have already blurred the line of what people expect from idols. And Jungkook in particular has grown far beyond the image people created for him when he debuted. He has broken so many stereotypes about what an idol is supposed to act like, sound like, or think like. Some people cannot reconcile that growth. They want him frozen in a version that fits their idea of him.
They were never the mould. They never fit neatly into the template. And yet some still insist on treating them, him as if they came out of the same factory line as everyone else.
When you consider the cultural context of the industry itself, not even the country as a whole but the entertainment system specifically, it is genuinely refreshing to see someone be that honest without being rude, arrogant, egotistical or reckless. There was no disrespect in what he said. There was simply clarity. And maybe that is what unsettles people the most.
For me, it just reinforced something I have believed for a long time. Jungkook is far more self aware and far more in control of his narrative than many give him credit for. And whether people outside the fandom misunderstand him or people within the fandom twist his words, that does not change the fact that he chose to speak plainly. That alone says a lot.

Swiss perspective on EP 1 & 2
It's so funny as a Swiss person myself to see Jimin & Jungkook in my own country 🥹 I'm so happy to see them appreciate sights that are familiar to me.
I thought it might be fun to bring you my perspective on those episodes and some of my thoughts on certain details XD
Some things were so hilarious like it made me laugh so much
Firstly it brought me so much joy to see them at Migros 🥹 This is a store everybody goes to and basically all Migros resembles each other.
What was so funny is that Jungkook basically stole a plastic bag from the fruit/vegetable section and used it to pack their things 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's not something swiss people would do. Plastic bags are solely for fruit/vegetable (if you buy any) and then you're supposed to buy additional bags at the cashier. They even had enough money left to do it since a bag is 20cents. So the fact that they are both millionaire but took a plastic bag instead of buying one was so hilarious 🤣 they were lucky because the cashier could have said something but they got away with it thankfully lol
Another thing that made me laugh is when they were at Caumasee and Jungkook ordered a hot tea to pour into ice instead of ordering a regular Ice tea. I was like "Noooooooo" because Ice tea is kind of a big deal in Switzerland, we have very famous Ice tea that everyone drinks. I was looking forward for them to try it but he did this instead XD I was so sad 🤣 My dream of them trying Ice tea is slipping away.
Another thing was them buying that instant pasta dish like 🤣🤣🤣 We don't really have convenience store like in Asia where the food there is good ect. Usually that pasta thing you find at Coop is really a desperate thing to buy. Like we wouldn't buy it because it is really bad. Maybe someone would buy it if there was nothing left when the store is about to close at 7pm. So seeing them take it I was like "Noooo" 🤣🤣 but thank god Jungkook managed to make it better 🥹🫶🏻
Another thing I want to note is Jimin's ability to drive in the mountains. Usually it's a bit harder to drive there and I'm sure Jimin isn't really used to it but I think he drove very well. (In some places it can be a bit dangerous because people are so used to it that they drive really fast and unsafely). But I agreed on their comment that USUALLY swiss people don't drive very aggressively which is good, especially since it's foreign to them. JK rode his motorcycle also well (sometimes we are annoyed at bikers because they drive unsafely too but JK was very good)
Funny thing when they were at the first restaurant, at first they tried eating with forks and such and it made me laugh when they started eating with their hands xD in a restaurant as classy as that one seemed to be we usually wouldn't do that so it made me smile 🤭
I find it absolutely criminal to give them only 100 francs per day for 2. In Switzerland for a day it's practically nothing and I find it's a bit of a shame they can't enjoy everything switzerland has to offer fully. But then at the end of episode 2 I was really relieved to see them at that fancy restaurant (clearly they aren't that strict about budget because that one would cost way more than 100chf.) So my mind was eased. I don't want to see them eating fast food every day lol
I really hope they will try the fondue 🥹
Switzerland is really big on trains and their ponctuality, so if Jikook did not run fast enough the doors could have closed in on them and they would have missed it XD I was glad they made it in time. It felt so nice to see them riding our train 🥹 I absolutely adore train rides here (even if it's expensive as fuck). I hope they'll get to take other trains in future episodes.
Overall I adore seeing them in my country, it's a very surreal feeling. And them saying "it's like a fairytale" "are we in a storybook?" Reminds me just how beautiful Switzerland really is. For us it became somewhat normality, even if we see beautiful landscape everyday we can be a bit blasé lol we don't always stop and appreciate it. (I try to do it every once in a while when I go by the lake to take it all in and remind myself just how magical it is.)
Here's a little picture from my town:
So it felt really good to hear them saying all those praises just to remind myself once again how lucky I am to live in this country 🥹
If I heard JK correctly there is a chance jikook came to my town (AND I MISSED THEM? I SWEAR THAT I LOOKED WHEN THEY WERE HERE BUT SOMEHOW WAS IN DENIAL THEY WOULD COME 😭😭) So maybe jikook walked in front of my house 🫠 I would go crazy lololol but we'll have to wait and see in future episodes if they did. Maybe they didn't stop there but how could Jungkook know that name if they didn't drop by? We'll see.
Anyway that was my two cents on their swiss experience so far and I'll make a similar post next week if I notice something interesting!!
Take care everyone 💜

This video below was honestly so warming to watch. I feel their joy, their struggle and their passion through my screen🌈❤️.
To see hardworking Koreans, queer people, regular women and men who actively contribute to change their reality and fight for what they believe in - democracy - is the best representation of a country that wants freedom, rights, that stands. I always remember Namjoon’s words about Korea saying how often people forget what this country has been through and who hurt it in the past.
To see people jostling to get what they want and deserve, to not open that wound again, to heal their lives and government: that’s immense. That’s who came before us would be proud of.
I wish everyone in the world this same strength, spirit and love for their land. I really wish everyone could get rid of their ignorant and despotic rulers and kept educating themselves on history, on who fought in the past, tried, and tried, and tried, giving each one of us - no matter where you’re from - what we often give for granted now.
Our broken present needs care and attention, and Koreans are setting the standard for the next generations, they’re honoring the heritage left by those who experienced Martial Law and believed in democracy so it wouldn’t happen again in the future.
They’re not the only ones fighting for freedom and to protect their rights and lives from autocracy. They’re not the only ones fighting, right now in the world. But we rarely, rarely celebrate anything these days. And seeing a country freeing itself, with its own hands and voices, going from that initial uncontrollable chaos on December 3rd last year to this, deserves a raise.
I seriously wish those who can’t talk back, who can’t rebel, and those who have been doing so for decades, and those who stay unheard and still hopeful, and those who can finally rest after combat, the peaceful life they deserve.
Please stay educated, don’t look the other way. I’m so happy for them look at their smiles!!! These people are glowing!!!
