The other day I came across a quote from an article about unnecessary gendering of children’s books:
“Let’s face it, any company with a billion dollar advertising budget could convince even Jeremy Clarkson to dress up as a Disney princess if it really wanted to, and probably would if his doing so could double its income.”
Well, of course, that sent me on a bit of a mental journey, and this was the result…

So, tomorrow is the last episode of Top Gear as we know it. Here’s a round up of some quotes about it/Clarkson, Hammond, May’s future activities:

The Tiny Chumps had a little mishap with their plane on the way to their next adventure and are stranded on a tropical island. It’s not going too well - Richard has gone (coco)nuts, Jeremy’s got crabs, and James has… made… a new friend (he’s called Wilmaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!)
Stab Hammond because he’s got short enough arms that I could get him, shoot Clarkson because he’d enjoy the absurdity of it, and drown May because he’d be entertainingly resigned to it as his vessel went down. And you couldn’t drown Hammond because he’s too buff.
go on a six hour road trip with (no car radio, you choose who drives), sit next to on a six hour plane flight, sit across from on a six hour train journey
Hmm, hard one! Road trip with May and he drives. He’s not going to get us pulled over nor dead and he’ll take the scenic route. Unless we have a deadline to get where we’re going, in which case I’ll drive and I’ll hate it, but it’s still the best choice because I don’t want to have either of the others driving! Although I might get lost, too, because I am shit with directions. With two of us surely we’ll make it to the destination! (Ha. Ha.)
Plane flight with Hammond who will eat junk food and watch a guns-and-explosions movie and not mind when I have to get up and pee a lot. And train ride with Clarkson who will happily share an earbud with me and play good music while I look out the window at the scenery, which is what I like to do when I’m on a train.
watch a soap opera with, go to a play with, watch your favourite movie with
Soap Opera with Clarkson for the running commentary on how stupid it is, play with May since he can actually sit quietly and appreciate it, and movie with Hammond because all my favs are funny and I think he’d have fun.

Unable to do much apart from Zoom each other at the moment, the Tiny Chumps have been reminiscing about old TV shows like Department S and The Persuaders. This of course reminded them of Jason Clarkson, Roger St Hammond, and John Steed - The Interceptors!
