(making a separate post for this! which is this postt, got a little excited with my waterbae rant when i posted it first HAHAH)

Y'know... it's always Robert and Flambae who are enemies to lovers (WHICH I GET AND LOVE DONT GET ME WRONG GUYS! DON'T BURN ME ON THE STAKE! I JUST REALLY LIKE THEM IN A ENEMIES TO DOOMED LOVERS TYPA TROPE, THEY'RE KINDA EMOTIONAL 4 ME n lowkey they're a intense kinds horny kinda enemies to lovers if u get what i mean...) but what about Waterboy and Flambae.... I think that's just very... funny... y'know.

I don't see much about them being like really more on enemies on the enemies to lovers part. It's mostly herm being "oh my uwu, my eternal big sugoi heart should be nice to this man! i can't be too mean like granny told me! only curse at him maybe but this man is so kawaii is this what sexy man is even though he is mean and bad boy?!-" and chad's just mean (in said trope) in a way that's not that funny or related to the plot... yeah... no....

Herm thinks Chad really is cool and good looking too, somehow he kinda likes him too. And maybe they do get together, maybe they do hook up, kiss here and there. No one knows! Except these two! But there are times, not just sometimes- most of the time, Herman's life worth of patience and kindness to humanity really gets tested with Chad. When Chad talks mean to other people, make fun of other people (and him still sometimes, not as bad as before) and drives wreckless! Along with his very extravagant way of well... living. Herm loves discovering new things! He's not that much of a killjoy! Chad's way of living just clashes so much with his "I just wanna live okay!" life. Herm sometimes just gets rubbed off with Chad's way of trash-talking people and he only snaps off at Chad. It also infuriates him how Chad just sometimes, smirks at him! Like what's so funny with saying "you make me wanna strangle and beat you up right now!" !? (granted he didn't really cuss him out). They would also hurt each other sometimes, not in a extreme way. A pinch, a smack, and a kick here and there when Blond Blazer or Robert's not looking or listening. Chad would put flour in Herman's suit if he was pissed enough when Herman slept while he was talking in bed last night or takes a ugly picture of him. Herman would hide Chad's favorite skin care routine stuff or dilute his perfume with water if he was pissed enough at him when Chad eats his dinner and forgets to save him some or he accidentally used herm's card to buy something that's not food or important stuff. WHAT I'M SAYING GUYS IS- They're the enemies to lovers kind of trope that are just plain fucking hilarious and petty HAHAHHAHAHA oh I love them so much <3 The only person Herm can't even say thank you nicely because Chad looks too smug! like he's being made fun of saying thank you! and these two can't even say sorry, because herm grew some backbone or two from being with flambae but flambae's pride will forever be higher about not being the one to say sorry. the potential unintended comedy these duo has not even as lovers yet HHAHHAHA (i need to go back to work but i also have so much to say on flambae's possible HC with his pov in this trope NYAHAHAH basically flambae can't believe he likes this white twink but is inevitably a basic white man that he fears sometimes) Like make hermy mad! make chad more petty! make them both petty! THEN MAKE THEM KISS! (on the latter chapter) I love the banter so much! One time I was too focused on finally seeing one of my rare mega super amazing clink clank life changing sex tag that I didn't get to see the ANGST tag somewhere in the middle. WHO PUTS THAT THERE??? AND IN SMALL LETTERS TOO LIKE IT WAS THE MOST INSIGNIFICANT TAG???

So I was bomboozled after a few paragraphs and they were having a very sad break up scene and saying REALLY, REALLY MEAN STUFF. THAT THEY SHOULDN'T SAY TO EACH OTHER— GUYS DON'T BREAK UP, DON'T LEAVE EACH OTHER????? and it implied it was gonna be what... 20, 30 chapters away until they GET BACK AT EACH OTHER?

Character death sure! If the duo was doomed by the narrative sure! I could maybe THUG IT OUT a little. But angst about a ship which is my happy silly yoohoo babes... yeaaaaaaah I'm not torturing myself with that! "If you like strawberries, try cocaine!" yeah, no thanks!
