Some ppl: So you want the character you like to be forgiven for all their mistakes they made in cannon and all their character flaws erased

Me: NO that's what's interesting about them you cannot-

Some ppl: And you want them to be in a ship where their or their partner's personality is reduced to nothing more than an emotional support crutch with no resistance or any of the ambition and drive that you see in cannon

Me laying on the floor crying: please stop

On a darker note: the man doesn't wanna be alive anymore, so why even?

Colon is only 2 years younger than Ace. And I know that gaints age much slower but I would like to think that if Roger was alive that he would take Ace to meet Gaban and Colon.

That Ace would think of Colon as another younger brother, that Gaban and Roger would brag about their kids and tease Rayleigh about not having one and him replying "Didn't we already raise two I don't understood why you both wanted to do it again!," and they would laugh.

2) They remind me of myself in way that makes me feel a little called out for my flaws
