will you post your tim trying on janet's makeup fic on archiveofourown? pretty pretty please? I want to save it forever!
I'm flattered by the request, anon ⥠I do plan to post all of the cheer up prompt responses to ao3 once I'm done with them, but since the rest of them will probably be some flavor of jaytim and this one's gen, I went ahead and posted it separately for you:

hello! i was wondering if youâre thinking of doing jtw this year? hope life is going well!!
Hi anon, thanks for asking ⥠I had originally been hoping to participate but, uh, my inspiration has gone on vacation without me, I think. Or it mightâve been stolen by my neighbor, who might be a witch. I saw her at the devilâs sacrament and everything đ
Anyway, I guess weâve still got a month-ish to go, right? Maybe the inspiration will come back before then!! Itâs possible, right?? Right??? Right.....?
Edit: oopsie daisy, totally forgot to address the rest! I have pasta and garlic bread so tbh life is going perfectly, I can't complain. I hope your life is going well too, anon!! âĄâĄâĄ
Wow, it seems like only yesterday that a couple of bright-eyed, bushy-tailed fans announced the first JayTim Week. While those founding mods have since moved on, the ship week itself is still chugging along just as strong as everâa whole decade later!
We had a lot of grand ideas while brainstorming for this year's JayTim week. There have been a lot of events (sometimes more than one in a year!), in a lot of different ways (longtime fans will remember the epic JayTim BINGO Month of 2019), and over the years we've had a heckuva lot of prompts. Why not pull on all that history to make something unique and special?
This year, JayTim "Week" will span 10 whole days, from June 19th through June 28th, 2026âone day for each year. To pick prompts for each day, our dedicated mods compiled the past prompts (all 301 of them), weeded out the repeats, and randomly divided them between the 10 days. Then, to mix things up a bit more, we made a picker wheel for each day.
To decide on your prompt(s) each day, simply spin the wheel and let fate decide. Since we don't have a free day this year, each wheel also includes a Free Day!, bringing the total number of possible options for each day up to a whopping 25 prompts (wow)!
Day 1 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 2 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 3 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 4 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 5 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 6 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 7 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 8 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 9 Prompt Picker Wheel
Day 10 Prompt Picker Wheel
The sidebar of the event blog has been updated and includes a page with the above prompt picker wheel links for easy reference, as well as a list of frequently asked questions. If you have questions, please check that page first! If you canât find your answer, please donât hesitate to reach out to us via our Ask Box.

Tim Drake always has a plan. Itâs just a fact. Everyone knows it.
Whether he always has a good plan, wellâŚthatâs open for debate.

I ... don't understand? HOW HAVE I NOT RECCED YASMINDIFFERENCE BEFORE?!?
This is kinky smut. It's also an exploration of trust and intimacy. It's a metaphor for some unnameable experience that I can only see through mirrors. The mirror is, as previously stated, kinky smut. And Yasmin is VERY VERY good at kinky smut!

hi anon! I got very and unexpectedly into Jango Fett/Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars!!! Which led to a brief but intense fixation on just Jango Fett lmao. It's funny, before this interlude I barely knew anything about Mandalorians even after watching the TV show, but now I have a vague grasp of Mando'a and have strong feelings about pre-prequel Mandalorian politics??? I have no explanation for this, anon. I really don't. Are you familiar with this ship? Did you experience the same or am I just easily fixated? Asking for a friend. (The friend is myself.)
Just came across your blog and wanted to ask, where do you get your prompts? I'm doing my best to get back into writing but I've got upcoming holidays and other events that drain any thought I get. If it's a personal prompt list, you don't have to share! I'm just curious
hi anon, thanks for asking! If you're talking about the numbered prompts I'm currently(ish) answering, it's actually a combination of several different prompt lists! What I did was I went through a few different blogs and pulled parts of prompt lists I liked and put them all together in one document and then numbered them lol. I don't remember all the blogs (forgive me, this was a whole year ago), but I know that promptsandgames was one of them.
I do have one caveat which is that I had to do a lot of digging to find anything that inspired me... personally, I tend to find less detailed prompts are more inspiring for me. Like one list I took a lot from was a list of different types of kisses, which you can find here! A lot of prompt lists on that blog are things like dialogue and situations, some of which I just couldn't see myself ever writing. So I had to do some digging, on that and other blogs, to pick and choose things I thought might work for me.
So if you're like that too, maybe this won't be too helpful, but I hope very much that it is!! Good luck with the writing, anon! Let's both work on writing more together âĄâĄâĄâĄ
two days in a row!!! I have all week off for thanksgiving so I'll hope I can keep this going...for now, I hope you enjoy! âĄâĄâĄ
The blue light of dawn is just creeping around the edges of the window shades when soft footsteps sound behind Jason.
âGood timing,â he says. âBreakfastâs almost ready.â
He doesnât tense when slim arms slip around his waist, or when a kiss is pressed to the back of his shoulder.
âSmells good,â Tim Drake says, a little hoarsely. Thereâs a weight between Jasonâs shoulder blades, Tim leaning into him shamelessly. âYou didnât have to.â
âWould you have eaten if I hadnât?â
A short but telling silence ensues. âI plead the fifth.â
Honestly. Itâs a wonder this man lived to adulthood.
âYou know, this is why youâre so skinny,â Jason says, conversationally, as he flips the second omelet in the pan.
âNah, thatâs the cocaine,â Tim says, equally conversational.
Jason pauses and half-turns, seeking eye contact. He doesnât quite make it, not when Timâs still clinging to him like a limpet, but the arms around his waist tighten in reassurance.
âJoking,â Tim says. âObviously.â
âI wouldnât put it past you,â Jason mutters, but returns his attention to the frying pan without further discussion. Itâs not like it should matter to him, anyway, if Tim Drake is doing lines behind his back. Thatâs none of his concern.
âThe only thing Iâm addicted to is work,â Tim promises, then pauses thoughtfully. âAnd maybe your cock.â
It surprises Jason into laughing, and Tim finally lets go of him to make his smug way over to the breakfast bar. Two glasses of orange juice are ready and waiting, and he helps himself to one without hesitation, downing half of it in one gulp.
Sitting there in an old, faded t-shirt and sweatpants, too-long bangs hanging in his face, both hands wrapped around a glass of juiceâŚTim Drake looks soft. Soft and sweet and harmless.
Youâd never guess by looking at him that this man needed less than a decade to turn a failing conglomerate into Wayne Enterprisesâ biggest competitor.
Itâs suspicious. Heâs suspicious.
But he gives Jason the brightest, happiest smile when he places a carefully plated omelet in front of him, and maybe those suspicions are a little too easy to forget. They sure as hell were last night, when Jason followed him up to his penthouse suite and pinned him to his bed without a second thought.
Itâs not the first time Jasonâs done that. Itâs not even the tenth.
âThis looks fantastic,â Tim says. Rudely, he doesnât wait for Jason to sit down with his own omelet before digging in. The way his eyes immediately close in pleasure makes up for it a bit, though. âAnd tastes even better. Thanks, Pete.â
He hums happily when he takes another bite, and hearing the fake name doesnât even bother Jason anymore.
Yeah. This undercover thingâs gone way, way off the rails. Even if it does turn out that Timâs up to something as shady as it looks like from the outside, even if he has done something worth killing overâŚ
âAnytime.â
âŚat this point, Jasonâs not sure he can.
Prompt #13 was shoulder kiss, and it was also requested by @darkstone13! Excellent choice! In case anyone missed it, this takes place in the same 'verse as yesterday's kidnapping ficlet. Thanks for the prompts!! âĄâĄâĄâĄâĄ

shh this isnât super late, shhh it hasnât been almost exactly a year since I last posted fic, shhhhhh Iâve been here all along
life hit me really hard, sorry! I hope everyone is well and enjoys this little bit of fic while I try to get back in the groove âĄ
âThis is a kidnapping.â
Tim doesnât look up from his lunch. âNo, this is a sandwich.â
His would-be kidnapper plainly watches way too many movies, because the slow, trying-to-be-menacing way he cocks his gun is straight out of every Western Timâs ever (reluctantly) seen.
âMr. Drake,â his kidnapper says with emphasis. âThis is a kidnapping.â
One half of his (honestly incredible) sandwich finished, Tim does glance upâŚbut only to confirm what he already knows.
âPlease donât get blood on the rug,â he requests politely. Then he attends to his (homemade!) potato chips while the idiot at the other end of the dining table splutters.
âIâI wonât get blood anywhere if you coââ
âHey, dumbass,â Timâs new bodyguard says, looming up behind the man like something out of a nightmare. âHe wasnât talking to you.â
Tim will admit to a bit of sympathy for the fool who came here looking to kidnap him. Jason Todd subdues him so quickly and easily, itâs hard to think of the idiot as any kind of potential threat. Sure, itâs annoying that he thought he could just waltz in here and abduct Tim, as if Tim werenât smart enough to hire security, butâŚitâs like being mad at a dog for barking at the mirror.
It may get on your nerves, but the little guyâs too dumb to hold a grudge against.
By the time Tim finishes the second half of his sandwich, the whole matter is settled, and Jason Todd has returned to his guard position by the door, unruffled as always.
âThank you for lunch,â Tim says to him and, caught in raptures over how damn good that meal was, only belatedly remembers to add, âAnd for dealing with the wholeâŚkidnapping thing.â
Jason Todd shrugs it off. âItâs my job.â
âProtecting me is your job,â Tim corrects. âMaking me lunchââ
ââis just protecting you from your own bad habits,â Jason Todd says, desert-dry. Heâd been very unamused to discover, his first day on the job, that Tim usually only ate a granola bar for lunch. And sometimes breakfast. âSpeaking of which, a little more concern when some asshole points a gun at you might not go amiss.â
âI didnât see any reason for concern,â Tim says honestly. âI have you, after all.â
Jason Toddâs classic Bland Bodyguard⢠expression flickers. Tim, being only human, canât help but enjoy the way those broad shoulders shift in the equally classic Bland Bodyguard Suitâ˘.
âI appreciate the faith,â Jason Todd says after the briefest pause, âbut youâve only known me a week.â
Ah, well, thatâsâŚtechnically true. Tim has indeed only known Jason Todd for a week, since the man came on board as his newest bodyguard after Mike Takeda received an unexpected inheritance and quit.
âTrue,â Tim admits. âStill, Iâve got a good feeling about you. Itâs hard to be worried with you in my corner.â
After all, Tim has known of Jason Todd since they were both kidsâsince he was watching Robin soar over Gotham every night. Theyâve both grown up since then (and Jason Todd in particular has grown up very, very well), but even with him wearing a different cape these days, Tim doesnât think anything will ever shake his faith in Jason Todd.
ââŚThanks,â Jason Todd says.
âAgain, thank you,â Tim says in return, then finally, reluctantly abandons his empty plate. âNow, I really need to get back to work. Join me in my office?â
âOf course, Mr. Drake,â Jason Todd says. He falls into step behind Tim without another word.
Jason Todd looms over Tim just like he did Timâs would-be kidnapper, but the shiver that runs down Timâs spine has nothing to do with nightmares. Quite the opposite, in fact.
He doesnât know whatâs motivated the Red Hood to take an undercover role as his bodyguard, of all things, but he intends to enjoy it while it lasts.
(And hopefully, with enough exposure, he might collect himself enough to get his inner twelve-year-old back under control. Really, at this rate, itâs only a matter of time before he calls âPete Davisâ Jason Todd to his face, and then heâll really have problems.)
I do still have my list of prompts and a bunch of them in my inbox, in case you were wondering! Prompt #37 was kidnapping, and it was also requested by an anon and @frozenbrimstone. I hope you all enjoyed âĄâĄâĄ
