New: barrel bomb and kaboom stickers!

They've been added to my Etsy

Barrel bomb is a gritty glitter texture.

Kaboom sticker is a glossy fireworks with easy-peel backing!

So it has no white border.

There's too much AI on it, and I think it's drowning out real creators with real made products.

I worry that customers look at my listings and think "eh maybe that's fake" and scrolls on.

Etsy sales have been rock bottom lately. Literally zero earnings for many weeks now. I am fully relying on physical market booths to help me earn anything...but I also can't do many physical booths because ... I make things one by one. I'm not a speed crocheter. It takes time to fill out the booth.

To add on to boothing, the rental of a booth in an event is going up, up and insane. Gone are the days of $250 tables. No. Everything is $400 onwards now. For the same sized, 120cm x 60cm table, in a roughly 2mx2m space, sometimes lesser space. A bigger table, 180cm, bumps up the rental to $500, or $600.

I'm tired a lot. Getting older. Hitting menopause. Don't know what the future of my business is going to be like...

Again, I've tried some other shop apps but they either have limited listings (e.g. 5 listings on bigcartel, and only 1 photo per listing), or (expensive) monthly fees (e.g. shopify) that I know I won't earn back judging by my lack of ANY sales, even via direct msgs.

I gave up on my Shopee shop.

I'm on the fence with building my own site.. I currently have a googlesite that's all free and great, but it doesn't have a shop-checkout thingy. I'd need to use some other add-on for that and I haven't looked into it too much... I have squareup, and stripe... Can all these be somehow added into a googlesite as a checkout method..? 😵‍💫

I made some sample charms of my Stardrop design.

I wanted to have shiny sparkly stars (like how it sparkles in game), and the purple part had to be translucent to allow the sparkly design to show through.

Shah found the pattern herself from @vandal_yarnz . @lavimamma_ sent it along to me and I ordered it.

Shah picked her own colours from the yarns we showed her. I (may) have tempted her with a change to neon pink for the frills 😂

Today's rainbow post is a memory from 6 years ago! 🌈

My colourful junimos were joined by my attempt at the jumbo junimo plush. Y'know, the secret one you find in the bush behind the playground?

I also made special little pieces for orders back then. This jumbo and teal junimo were accompanied by a fly amanita mushroom as my buyer was funghi lover and clay artist who made mushroom pendants 🥹🍄

Some colours you see there aren't available anymore; like the Grey, Green, melon-Pink, and now Teal. Even this jumbo version isn't available anymore. I could still make, of course 🍏!

I know there were complaints about her big forehead 😅 (all the better for kisses really).

She also has a new attire it seems, the collar is open. And her neck. 💕 But I hope they don't give her excessive chest exposure. (Enough of that from Gemma. 🙄 The fanservice of her boobs and now her ass.)

I will miss Olivia's original hairstyle. I hope we can change back n forth their hairstyles (like how we can change handler outfits) but I doubt it.

I think 2020 was a pretty grim year. Covid was blown up. People were locked in and depressed. There were a lot of crochet rainbows being made and sold by several crafters I followed.

Rainbows made everyone happy.
