Ok so, it’s already been established that curses are a thing in this world. The shroud family has a curse on them that burns blot and causes them to have blue fire like hair and sharp teeth. And Grim has some sort of curse placed on him. My question is, is there a way to reverse a curse? Like undo evil magic that was placed on someone with good magic?

What if that was someone’s signature spell? Purification? Kinda like in contrast to Vil. Whose signature spell is to poison and curse things. Anything they touched that was tainted could be cured or go back to its original state. And if the evil magic is too much for them to turn back completely, then they can at least help someone handle a curse. Or lessen a curse’s effects.

I don’t know if anyone of you watches the owl house, but in it, one of the main characters Eda, has a curse placed on her. She turns into a giant rampaging owl monster. Eventually, after a lot of struggling and pain, she finds a way to make peace with her curse by accepting it as a part of her. And once she does, she becomes her best self. That’s all I’ll say to avoid spoilers since the owl house is amazing and you should watch it.

I also think it would be cool if they could use purification magic to somehow turn the phantoms at Styx back into normal humans. Or merfolk, beastmen, or fae. Whatever they were before they Overbloted and the phantoms consumed them. It made me so sad to think that those rampaging monsters used to be normal people just like the main cast and they had to fight and kill them, watching them dissolve into a black, gooey substance.

Yuu: Leona, I believe we got off on the wrong foot.

Leona: *Is sleeping and won’t wake up.*

Yuu: rise and shine.

Leona: *still won’t wake up*

Yuu: up and at ‘em.

Leona: *still won’t wake up.*

Yuu: wakey wakey eggs and bakey.

Leona: *still won’t wake up*

Ruggie: get up lazy ass.

Lilia: you’re driving and you see Silver and Malleus crossing the street. What do you hit?

Sebek: Silver.

Lilia: …

Sebek: Well, it’s my job to protect Malleus, so, I’d hit silver right?

*they’re going to a funeral*

Vil: I don’t have anything appropriate to wear. I need to buy something black.

Epel: Doesn’t your soul qualify?

Vil: Laugh now, but when I die, I will come back to haunt you.
