YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A PARTNER?!? (part 2!)
Honestly didn't expect this to have a part 2 so this may be short, please read part 1 if you want background info about Reader Shard
This takes place in Vil's dream so a lot/majority of the dialog will probably be from canon eng version till they run into/see Vil (-Yuu's dialog will be Ad's version as I want Yuu to have a little more personality no offense)
"Aether signal tracking successful. We have arrived at the designated coordinates." Ortho says after checking if their surroundings are correct as the data given
"Phew... Good, it looks like everyone made the crossing safely." silver said with a sigh of relief that everyone is safe
"Myaah! At least with Ortho comin' along, I ain't crashin' into the ground head-first anymore!" Grim said happily as Yuu pets his fluffy head
"Merveilleux, Silver! So that was your dream-traversing signature spell.I was captivated by the beautiful scenery we traveled through!" Rook says with his hand on his heart. No one else can tell but he is trying to focus on Silver's UM as he is worried about Vil even tho he knows that Vil is probably still dreaming.
"You sure are handling this a lot better than I expected" Yuu said to Rook but before Rook could Answer Silver beat him to it
"I agree, this is your first time making a trip in a dream, and you still had the presence of mind to look at the scenery... That's impressive, Rook. You're clearly vice housewarden for a reason." Respect and admiration was evident in Silver's voice as he was impressed that Rook managed to focus so much on the scenery
"The dawn just before the dazzling morning sun pierces the skies—or the dusk just before night's curtain of twinkling stars is lowered. The silhouettes of strange birds fluttering amidst the clouds, the likes of which I've never seen before... It was truly one of the beautiful things I'd ever seen! Everything was so dream like!" Rook said in reply to silver, it was clear Rook was very amazed by Silver's UM as it was truly the most dreamy UM he's ever seen
Yuu giggles a bit before deadpaning "Rook this is a dream, obviously everything is so dream like"
"I suppose you are right Trickster but let this Hunter be in awe for just a while longer if you may" Rook said to Yuu
"Okay, so, where are we? It's not our school, and it's not Foothill Town, right?" Epel said in confusion as he didn't recognize the area at all. But he wasn't surprised that Vil would dream about being in a fancy ass area
"Ah! One moment. Could this beautiful gate be what I think it is...!?" everyone could practically see the sparkles around Rook as he realized where they were
"Queen's Film Studios...Hm?I seem to recall that being the name of a well-known movie production company..." Sebek says to no one is particular but everyone heard him on account of his volume
" well-known??? "Well-known" hardly covers it!!! One can hardly discuss the history of film without discussing Queen's Film Studios! Have you seen Beautiful Queen? The first full-length animated feature done in color, depicting the tale of the Fairest Queen???? It is truly a work of art!!" Rook rambled happily as the location was a big thing among Cinephiles like himself
"What's going on?! Rook's rambling again.!" Sebek said in worried tone as he didn't want Rook to still be dreaming
"Is he not fully awake yet?" silver asked as he like Sebek was clearly worried and concerned that they might've brought a not fully awake person with them
"No. that's just how Rook is" Yuu says with a sigh already used to Rook's rambling from when they practiced for VDC in Ramshackle to when they all went to get Vil and the other's back
"The prefect is correct!! Rambling on excitedly when talking about a topic relevant to your interests is classic otaku behavior." Ortho says confirming what Yuu said
"Oh my, apologies. I got a bit overeager." Rook says as he realized he'd rambled once again before he remembered what he was talking about "If we're standing in front of this studio, I suppose that would suggest we're in Maquillaville, in the Shaftlands." Rook says already thinking to himself that Vil was definitely around here somewhere and his instincts were telling him that he was close..."And if we know anyone with ties to this place...!"
SQUEEE! WOOO!
"What's this?! There's a crowd of people in front of the studio.!!" Sebek said (semi-yelled) in surprise at the amount 9f people present
"there's someone there surrounding.. Do you guys think that's vi-" Yuu was saying before they were cut off by screams of fans
"AHHH IT'S VIL!!!" numerous people screamed
"!!!!!" the group was stunned
Beside Vil was Reader holding a camera in his hands taking photos of Vil interacting with fans
(this is what Reader was wearing and holding)
"There's the glowy bird flyin' around Vil. I had a feelin' this was Vil's dream, and I guess that seals the deal, huh?" Grim says noticing the white bird around Vil and not Reader
"Roi des miroirs never attended the party Monsieur Fuzzball, he's no where near the island, so it isn't possible for him to be stuck in this dream. This is Roi des poisons dream no doubt" Rook said because no way was that the real reader as he is currently in Shaftlands doing his internship
"Vil, could you autograph my shirt?!" Fan A asked Vil excitedly
"Certainly. Ah, I see it's a t-shirt from my fan club. Thank you kindly." Vil says as he signs the shirt, reader taking a photo of Vil signing the shirt
"Excuse me, um, may I shake your hand?" Fan B asked nervously trying not to stutter
"Of course. Thank you for being a fan." Vil said politely as he shook Fan B's hand
"Mista Viw! Wook at me!" a child fan yelled
"What a cute little fan you are. I'm so delighted, I think I'd like a picture with you. Are you this child's mother? Would you mind taking the photo for me?" Vil asks the mother, also subtly telling Reader to also take a photo of the three of them together. Reader nodding with a gentle smile" yes my dear, you don't have to say anything. "
"Oh, thank you... Thank you so much!" the mother exclaimed with happiness as she takes a photo of her child and then standing beside her child for Reader to take a photo of them
*SNAP* Reader's camera makes a loud sound before taking the poloroid out and giving it to the mother
"If you post this online, do be careful to conceal your child's face first." Vil advised the mother as Reader nods in agreement
"Yes, of course!" the mother says as she slightly bows in thanks to Reader for taking the picture
"VIIIL! Squeee! Yeeeah!" multiple fans started talking at the same time
"I'm sorry everything as much as Vil would like to stay and spend more time with you all, I'm afraid he has a busy schedule." Reader says to everyone with a soft smile trying to get Vil back on schedule while apologizing to everyone
"Yes I'm sorry everyone but we do have a schedule to follow, tho I hope you'll all catch me live at the Diamond Movie Awards tomorrow! We'll be going now. Good day to you all!!!" *sparkles seem to surround Vil as he speaks*
Vil says as he and Reader hold hands and leave
"SQUEEE!" the fans scream once again as they leave
"Vil always gives his fans the royal treatment...!" the fan who's shirt Vil signed said
"He's so perfect both inside and out!!" the child's mother say to her child
"Oh... When he smiles, he lights up everything around him..." the fan who shook his hand sighs dreamily "He really is..."
"The fairest one of all!!!"
"I KNOW! Even the most sparkling gems lose their luster compared to his beauty! And this fresh new look he's sporting has a beauté all its own...! Not to mention Roi des miroirs! I've never seen him wear something so Magnifique!!!" Rook says dramatically, small tears form in his eyes as he has witnessed one if the most beautiful things he's ever seen
"Uh Rook maybe you should tone it down a little before we attract attention..?" Yuu says awkwardly trying to calm Rook down a bit
"Hmm...Vil doesn't seem all that different from how he usually is." Epel says to everyone not really thinking about how reader was acting because he was focused on Vil
"That's true. On occasions like Halloween and the culture fair when NRC is open to the public...Vil always drew enormous crowds of people like what we just saw." silver says because to him Vil has always seemingly been able to attract a crowd of people. Silver also didn't really think much about Reader as he's only seen the guy once as Reader was in a clothing Collab advertisement that he's seen his father watch
"Come to think of it, back during the SDC...It was serious enough that we had extra security in place due to Vil and Neige LeBlanche performing there." Sebek says as he remembers how much security they had to have because of Vil and Neige
"If Vil ain't all that different from how he normally is... Maybe he's already woken up, like Idia and Ortho!!!" Grim says not noticing anything different
"I doubt it, Vil seemed a bit off if you ask me" Yuu says as they don't think the public knows that Vil and Reader are dating in the real world. They really needed to look Reader up on magicam when they woke up
"Let's follow him and flag him down!" Grim says before he runs off to follow Grim
"Ah! Grim ran off into the studio!" Ortho says in slight distress
"We'd better go, too. It's not good to get too far apart from the dreamer. Besides, we'll have a hard time finding Grim if we get separated." Silver says already used to grim doing stuff like this at this point
"He truly causes no end of trouble!!!" Sebek yells annoyed that they now have to run after grim
Yuu just sighs in agreement before everyone runs off to catch Grim before he does something stupid
"Whoa! I take my eyes off the video feed for ONE second..." Idia says caught off guard and annoyed, his tablet moving back and forth in annoyance "Heeey! Excuse me, sirs!" "You've got support from the outside and all, but could you maybe try NOT drawing too much attention to yourselves?!" "They'll all need to change into their uniforms, and they'll need visitor IDs for students on a field trip..." the tablet bounces frantically in worry
"Ortho! Handle things pls kthx!" Idia says
(idk if people Wanna see another part of this hut hey at least it's something? Ngl I wanna write more short stories about Mr.Shard but no new ideas so far:( )
