If Jeremy were to die, Jean would have his ashes turned into fireworks. the kind Jean saw for the first time with Jeremy standing beside him, the same night Jean pressed a first childish kiss to his cheek. Jeremy would be there for that display, too. only this time, he would be the light itself: the brightest thing in the sky, bursting across the darkness in brilliant colors. bright, loud, impossible to ignore, and beautiful in exactly the same way he had always been in life. It seems fitting to Jean that Jeremy’s last appearance in the world would be impossible for anyone to look away from. truly free and vibrant.
