but who are you? are you nothing more than the reflection in the mirror? no. youāre an infinitely-faceted diamond perched on a ring. but youāre also the person wearing the ring. ultimately, youāre awareness. youāre not chained to one version of yourself. thatās what youāve been conditioned to believe, but itās not the truth. if you really were stuck in one body, youād be stagnant forever. but you move!! you feel!! you grow!! you try on ego like itās designer; itās not sewn into your skin.Ā
your dr self is not a princess locked away in a tower that you have to cross a moat & slay a dragon to finally reach. shifting isnāt a quest given to you by some troll under a bridge. itās not laborious. think about the law of assumption. youāre assuming the role of someone who has your desire. the mindset shift is always first, it's the prerequisite for the senses shifting. youāre trading out one identity for another. when you truly have assumed the role of your dr self, youāll know that thatās who you are. youāre thinking as, feeling as, embodying your dr self. or, more appropriately, just yourself.
so if youāre assuming that youāre your dr self, if you feel like your dr self, if youāre embodying your dr self, then whoās flying the plane? would it not be unreasonable to assume that thatās you in your dr?? that is you. you know that thatās you. you donāt feel a separation from them because you are them. the 3d is notttt more powerful than you. itās a reflection of you.Ā so accept it as the ultimate truth, even if, according to the senses, it feels like a cosplay. fake it til you make it, but it's not actually fake, basically.
simplified explanation:
embody your dr self > become your dr self, even if not physically (yet) > your dr self is in your dr > you are in your dr > the physical reflects the assumption and the senses shift (but you were still already there. it was done the second that it started)

these are patterns i've noticed across my own attempts, particularly my most successful ones, based on reflections i've done through tarot readings to gain a deeper understanding of what's really happening on the spiritual side of things during a shifting attempt through the help of higher power. from those readings, i've been able to identify some potential key themes and ideas around what actually makes an attempt successful, what doesn't, and what truly muddies your ability to shift.

imagine it as a shift. this is why I say you're always shifting, because you are. everyone always shifts. you're not in the same reality you were in two seconds ago, and you won't be in this reality in another two seconds. that's just how the world works.

"i can't shift" you wouldn't be living in your body in this life and timeline if you couldn't shift. you literally shifted here. shifting is not a journey. shifting is a core ability of you awareness. you have already shifted countless times, you just can't remember. and you will shift again and again. like it or not. shifting is unavoidable. you were born shifter. you have jumped dimensions, timelines and realms since the beginning of time. you can experience more than this life. you will experience more than this life. anything you can imagine already exists. you're not creating another reality, you're aligning with something you already know, an alternative version of yourself. you're already there, just become aware of it.

How To Do Nothing (Yes, Really)

If you've been in shifting spaces for any amount of time, you've definitely heard people preaching about "letting go" and "doing nothing" and "just allow it to happen". And like, on paper it sounds stupidly easy, right? You just lie down and... exist? Groundbreaking stuff.
Except there's this tiny, annoying little voice in your head going something like "NO, WAIT, DO SOMETHING OR WE ARE WASTING OUR TIME, YOU ABSOLUTE WALNUT" and suddenly you're throwing affirmations around like you're at a motivational speaker convention aiming for first place, muttering your DR name like it's a password you want to make sure to not forget, doing literally anything to feel like you're being productive. Because god forbid we just do... nothing. There's this saying in my language that basically means "from nothing comes nothing". Like if you're unemployed and do nothing about it, shocking revelation, you're still unemployed. Can't ride a bike? Do nothing? Congrats, still can't ride a bike. Revolutionary logic. But when it comes to shifting, doing nothing is actually one of the best things you can do. Wild, somehow. And before you throw your shoe after me, I do not mean sitting there vibrating with anxiety while hoping really really hard. I mean actually allowing something to happen instead of white knuckling your way through it like the control freak we both know you are.
Like, think of it this way:
Doing: Trying to lift yourself off the ground by pulling on your own shirt. Spoiler: physics say no, you just look like an idiot. Allowing: Finally notice you've been standing in a pool this whole time, stopping all that dramatic flailing, and just... floating. Because the water's literally doing all the work. You're welcome, I guess.
Some Steps (because sometimes we need a manual for everything)
Decide what you want. Most people want to shift, obviously, duh, but honestly try starting smaller maybe. Babysteps. Before you do anything, just tell yourself what you're aiming for. Something like "I want to feel connected to my DR self" or something like that. That's it. You put the address in the GPS. Look at you go!
Let the autopilot take over Your subconscious is basically a self-driving car at this point. Your job is to just sit there and observe what's happening. That's it. I know, super hard, huh? When you start to feel stuff, resist the urge to immediately poke at it like it's some cursed science project. Don't try to make it stronger, don't try to decode what it means. Just notice it. You feel floaty? Think "neat" Your arms and legs go numb? Think "cool". When you get the itch to do something (because ofc you will), just tell yourself "Thanks brain, but I'm actually fine just watching right now". Pat yourself on the head if that helps.
Shifting happens (at least in my experience and opinion, you might disagree and that's totally fine, I am not your life coach or shit), when your subconscious finishes the trip you told it to take, while you are just sitting back like a passenger who finally learned to shut up and trust the driver. We tend to freak out about doing nothing because we think we are the ones powering the whole operation. We are not. We're just the consciousness along for the ride, and honestly, that's okay. All we gotta do is set where we want to go and then get out of our own way. So, do nothing. But on purpose. I believe in you or whatever you want to hear ^-^

and one look at my blog would tell you a little about my mindset, hell, i even made a post about how exactly i manifest! and recently, i wanted to prove that any mindset works. ANY. no matter your approach.
TL;DR? i basically decided to run a full psychological A/B/C test on myself like some lab rat.

HOW THIS BEGAN
i decided to stop my āusualā routine.
i stopped assuming i ALREADY had what i want, that it was done, yadda yaddaā¦
and i went back to that stereotypical baby shifter and manifestor mindset.
i tested three mindsets that were different from mine;
baby manifestor mindset: constantly listening to subliminals, clicking a new one with the same or even different topic than the last. affirming my mind out, doing the work, ykwim? it felt nice to actually do something instead of mentally assuming and feeling āstuckā or āhelplessā. none of this required the whole āperfect mental dietā people preach. i literally just spammed my brain and it went āfine, here.ā
because guess what???
neuroplasticity is a beautiful, lazy bitch like that.
baby shifter mindset: methods. yes, so. many. methods. the raven method, being in a starfish position and not moving or else it would ruin my momentum, visualizing, counting and affirming, etc. this is just a shifting version of the first mindset! doing work, doing things youāve been continuously told arenāt neededāand believe me, they ARENāT! these are not necessary, this is a simple experiment to show that any and all mindset works as long as you believe they do. ^_^
third mindset for both: doing nothing! literally nothing, not even affirming in my mind to get a desire or doing a method to shift. i just slept with zero worries in the world and assumed; it will work for me. not that it has, no fancy talk or watching what i feed my subconscious, just that it WILL. that it is inevitable. i didnāt even consume any manifestation content! no success stories or attempting to reassure myself. i removed all input, all effort, all stimuli⦠just, a manifestation speedrun with 0% effort! yahoo!!!
and ngl the last one was the most comfortable because it was just me doing NOTHING. sleeping anytime, doing homework when i felt like it, doomscrolling, just RELAXED! i spent time laughing with friends, enjoying school, coming home to yap about my entire day in FULL detail to my lovely, lovely boyfriend!
and guess what?
I GOT RESULTS WITH ALL!
LITERALLY EVERY MINDSET.
two shifts, and manifestations coming true.
ā MANIFESTOR MINDSET ;
for this one, i mainly focused on mindless subliminal listening! looping my favorites, humming the lyrics to the non-calm version ones, affirming over and over until it felt like breathing. automatic, normal. did feel myself going insane with the sensation of my ears always being plugged with headphones, thoughā¦
RESULTS:
exact scenarios unfolding almost immediately infront of my eyes, a simple thought of āi want thisā fleshes out. this, not even happened once, but MULTIPLE TIMES.
money. sooo much money, and it came from my mother whoād barely care to feed meābut we wonāt trauma dump right now, this is just a detail to show that the person who didnāt care about me started giving me money as if i were a bank account, for no apparent reason. anytime i refused, she insisted! i currently have around 58,000 IQD, which is a LOT.
appearance along with voice changes, includesā¦
fluffier hair when it was all flat and volume-less (?)
longer. eyelashes. my eyes are already the epitome of brown bambi eyes, staring into your soul, but them popping out more never hurt anyone!
mixed with a softer, more whimsy and expressive voice,
being better at singing, too!

more attention and becoming a priority! yes, sue me, i like being appreciated. from my boyfriend skipping work to spend more time with me, to my friends dragging me everywhere, calling me sweet, pretty and babying me.. along with being bought food out of nowhere. you get the gist! did also reconnect with my bestfriend after not speaking for a while, so i feel much happier.
easier homework and the ambition to study; i NEEEEDED this. you guys cannot believe how much intelligence and study subliminals are a lifesaver. even motivation ones, i recommend Enchanted Workshop, i believe thatās the account name? they have such unique subliminals aswell! but anyways, i lifted my grades up and i will still be using said subliminals to help until exam week finishes. god help me. and my entire classā¦
ā BABY SHIFTER MINDSET;
the nostalgia i felt whilst doing this was OVERWHELMING. so much, i was tempted to go on shiftok and watch old videos but iām not touching that part of the community with a ten foot pole. the first few days were me trying to adapt to the changes, because when you go from āthe perfect mindsetā to āwhatever the fuck nikolas had in 2022 when he first beganā, it is WHIPLASH. admittedly, i was extremely doubtful that this would actually work. though it was fun, i had my little internal assumptions nagging at me anytime i did the raven method againā¦
so, it took a bit!
three days, actually, give or take. iāve been doing this challenge secretly, sorry to hide it from you all, eheheheā¦
i had specific destinations i could go to during this journey, just to keep it simple! both being places iāve shifted to before, too.
during this mindset, i shifted to a forest. raven method, asleep version.
it may seem boring, but i had been in this forest before! i even remember making a post about it, listing it in the āthings iāve manifestedā or something like that post..
AND I SAW MY BESTFRIEND!
no, not my ACTUAL friend, but a silly guy named mr. ribbits!
he jumped up right on me once i saw him, he isāobviouslyāa frog! he had learned new tricks, but i was more focused on that he⦠somehow was wearing a suit. a frog suit. it was the most adorable thing i have seen and i am very much considering scripting him in ALL my drs.
i shifted back after a few hours of walking around, i did notice a town in the far off distance.. maybe i should make this an ACTUAL dr!
