the tiktok therian community pisses me off so bad yall genuinely just have no idea what a therian is

not to sound super gate-keepy but can we please get more niche again i hate this </3 i hate that when i tell people im a therian the first thing they ask is if i do quads. that isn't what we should solely be known for. alterhumanity was never supposed to be mainstream and we have only suffered as a result

sometimes i want to bite people. sometimes i want to run faster than i can physically. sometimes i want to curl up to sleep but cant because of my bones sometimes i want to growl and bark at strangers sometimes i need to be handled but theres no one to train me sometimes i need to be pat on the head soemtimes i need to be sniffing out bombs sometimes i need to be chasing the bad guy sometimes i need to be patrolling the house somtimes i need to bite my nails sometimes i need to chew on things somtimes i want to be seen as i am.

Some people think that commenting these things are helping our community “find themselves”. They are not. They are actively harming the therian community and its members.

I already felt isolated in my every day life, but now I feel even more isolated in this community.

I don’t understand how we can have infighting about policing others identities when we identify as ANIMALS.
