The reboot’s skin is pallid and smooth like porcelain. Emphasizing how he works from the shadows and doesn’t really get his own hands dirty unless it’s a very big mission or a time where he feels he needs to be the one delivering the message. The fact that we see him laid bare, seeing all the inked badges, it tells a story without him having to say a word. He uses wit and charisma to get his way. His hair is worn tidy, like his wardrobe.

Then thinking about the OG. His skin is scarred and weathered, often sun-kissed. He gets right into the dirt and blood. His hair is messy but he enjoys wearing fancy things. He doesn’t try to convince anyone. He pushes, he intimidates. He is extremely cunning but also chaotic in his own way. He doesn’t waste time cultivating alliances.

The biggest thing that the two Makarov’s share is their impatience. They are both very impatient men most of the time.

I don’t know if the devs meant to draw us to the skin or not but that was a huge thing for me. Also their temperaments: with the reboot: you never know when he is going to strike you, whereas the OG WILL strike.

I was just wondering.. what kind of pets would Makarov own? And how would they treat Andrei?

Considering Makarov is just straight up evil, I'd figure he'd have something like a white tiger or a bear, an exotic creature that belongs in the wild, yet he keeps confined for the looks..

Thinking about Makarov wanting to have Andrei nice and ready to receive him. So he has him take Peachy gummies and do his usual extra clean routine and when he starts to “train” his love hole, he, himself loses control because of how delicious Andrei is when he whimpers and blushes.

But I am not going to fall apart about it because that is just one timeline, one narrative in which they die. The devs themselves are always bringing characters who died back. Whether in a dlc or as an operator which means even to the devs have those characters in mind still.

So, comrades, even after we witness their deaths, do not fret. They have only died in that moment. It’s just a piece of their story and as long as the fans love them, they will never dies just look at Soap and the OG 141 and OG Yuri and Makarov. They have more stories to tell.

Makarov gets angry and asks why Yuri would call him a bland, dry biscuit. And goes on to say no one REALLY likes those.

To which Yuri replies with a wink, “I just use a little milk,” Yuri steps right into Makarov’s space and continues with a playful smirk,” … and get it nice and soaked before I eat it.”
