When they get back to the base Makarov expresses the pain he felt when he thought he’d lost Andrei and Andrei just pulls him into a kiss. 😘

Every word is sacred. He breathes only when Makarov pauses. Makarov knows he could get Andrei to do absolutely anything for him. He draws it out. Keeps Andrei at arm’s length because the young man is itching to get closer, to be in his shadow. Makarov starts off simple. A flash of an approving smile, an interested look in his dark eyes.

The pats on the shoulder, a squeeze on the back of his neck. Then comes the muzzle. Andrei will be anything Makarov wants. A cold blooded killer, or an obedient puppy.

Makarov loses himself in the hunt though. He becomes too eager for that next time he sees the golden boy.

He wants Andrei in every way possible. Finally, after a year of subtle flirtation and games, Makarov needs to claim his best soldier. He has it all planned out, somewhere private, isolated and plush. A room that smells of lavender. In the near darkness, he would grab the big, beautiful Aussie and take every thing from him. But it doesn’t happen like that.

No. Andrei shows up to a one on one debriefing in an impossibly tight black T-shirt. Makarov grabs him and bends him over his black mahogany desk, frantically pulling Andrei’s joggers down and fumbling with the belt and zipper of his own suit pants.
