““I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose.”  However, I’m pretty sure this purpose was to not be knocked off course and landed in Midgard !”  He growls to himself, delicate hands working and healing the wounds on his body from the long fall.  Healing magic was not something he’s accustomed too but one he has done enough to be efficient in.  He turns to the closest person  “Now tell me before I get furious what is this place ?!”  He usually is less snappy, but with a lot on the Asgardian’s mind his temper is very thin, and waking up here is no exception.

“loki of...” enid repeated, her brows raised, “i’ve read comic books, i know that’s a fictional character,” she almost snapped. enid wasn’t afraid of much and angry, over the top men? that was something she knew well from where she grew up. “i don’t know where we are. nobody knows where we are.”

fingers tap a constant rhythm against the table. there’s a coffee near him and a notebook in front of him with very neat notes. his tapping is interrupted when the stranger comes closer and he can’t help but flinch, tapping out the new rhythm three times before returning to the one he had been doing before. there’s a spare glance to make sure the coffee shop is actually full before stanley looks up at the stranger. “you can sit if you’d like. i’m not saving that seat for anyone.”

She nodded her head. “We loved each other, a lot, but… We tried and we weren’t good for each other. We needed time and maturity and…” She swallowed, that night flashing through her mind. “And we didn’t get it.”
