Matt Nix on what we can expect from The Gifted season 2. Some highlights from the interview:

-Polaris bringing down the Trask plane will bring a whole slew of new problems for mutants in terms of public opinion and politics

-season 2 will clarify the Frost sisters’ powers a bit

-Jace will be figuring out how to continue fighting mutants now that he is no longer with Sentinel Servicer and he might have some affiliations with Purifiers 

-we are going to see a lot more “mutants in the world” and “ hiding in plain sight” now that the HQ is gone

-season 2 will follow both the Mutant Underground and the Hellfire club as they pursue their mutual goal of helping mutants

-Struckers aren’t giving up on Andy, Eclipse is not giving up on Polaris, and Thunderbird is not giving up on Sage so we might see them all reunited sooner rather than later because there will be things that will push the Hellfire Club and the Mutant Underground together

-Purifiers and  Madeline Risman will play a role in season 2
