Really expected that devil girl to be a lesbian but it’s fine we get a generic she was leaving as the reason to initially lock her up

Is anyone surprised Eddie failed his drivers test twice. The boy crash his dad’s car at ten and got in trouble. He has trauma.

Did I miss a line? When did abuela come back to LA? Did she move back? Did she never sell her house here? I missed something.

Eddie is hiding going to church from Chris. Does this man know how to be open about anything? No. But I love him.

It’s really nice seeing Athena Buck and Eddie still actively dealing with their grief. And all of them deal in different ways. But damn I wish people could be a little more serious with Buck. Like he looked so hopeful when Eddie agreed that it could maybe be Bobby’s ghost.

We better get something good out of abuela telling Eddie god isn’t found in church but in love. Istg if we killed abuela and Eddie just keeps pushing all his grief and feelings down…

Buck is so sad Eddie won’t try to contact Bobby with him. This whole little exchange makes so much sense to me. But it still hurts. Remember back when Buck and Eddie had almost all their scenes together and they were with Chris in a good amount of them or at least said Chris was in the other room? Like it’s sad to me that Eddie’s just hanging with Chris on Halloween and Buck wasn’t a part of it. The fandom really built up their found family dynamic and I miss seeing hints of it on screen.

Ravi is such a good friend! Like why is Ravi the only one that sees Buck is hurting and goes along with what he needs to process his grief? Like if fake talking to a ghost would help why can’t the others just play along. Ravi is my princess. Also that costume was hysterical.

The scene with Chris and Eddie at the end. Eddie thinking remembering the dead will make Chris sad. Like no my man -that’s you. The later seasons have given him so much trauma over Shannon and he still hasn’t dealt with it. Idk if this moment will count as some closure or if the writers will bring all his problems back in a few episodes.

Having someone live in my attic is actually my biggest fear. Buck connected with the guy over AA. Like how funny would it be if he became friends with the guy that lives in his attic? I’d be down for that plot.

Honestly some great acting this episode but I’m reserving judgment on Catholic Eddie… how far are they gonna take that? Will it be one as insufferable to me as the copoganda? Idk, we’ll see. I think it’s great to reconnect with your faith, but the show has a habit of dropping things or completely ignoring things after they’ve been brought up.

“Are they all…” Chimney jumped into the conversation but didn’t finish his thought until Buck twirled his hand in the air to indicate he should continue. “They all so depressing?”

Buck looked down at his chest and frowned. He didn’t think any of the new tattoos were depressing.

“How is a tattoo depressing?”

“Buck,” Chimney groaned, “you tattooed lightning on you after you died from lightning. That’s not depressing?”

“Stick with me?” Eddie asked.

“Oh please, I’m getting wine drunk and hiding with the kids all day.”

It was a solid plan. Eddie understood the impulse. But he needed to be an adult. He was the oldest, the only son. He needed to be mature for Chris. He could have a relationship with his family for Chris’s sake. So while Eddie preferred the idea of hiding with the little kids all day out in the yard he knew he needed to face the music.

Chris didn’t say anything else as they drove through the neighborhood. Eddie pulled into their driveway and turned off the truck. He sat there while Chris grabbed his crutches and tried to figure out a way to fix things. Chris went to open the door and Eddie hit the button to lock the car before he could.

“Dad,” Chris groaned and went to pull the lock up. He had barely gotten his hand to the handle after he’d manually unlocked it when Eddie hit the lock button again. “Are you serious right now?”

“We need to talk.”
