His wife on the other hand, she's not feeling the same way. And though he doesn't show it online in anyway their marriage has seen new lows. Online zoom councelling has been...interesting to say the least. However, the two of them refuse to give up and crack underpressure. Its not like Sophia is against the streaming and online presence, its a hobby. So long as it stays a hobby.

Having moved back from England after his divorce to his wife and baby mama, Felix settled himself down in New York as a personal assistant. His political dreams were dashed in the halls of parliament in London. The drama and overwhelming sense of doom drove him away from a job he had enjoyed so much. His marriage suffered in the same way. He had met Elizabeth and fallen in love with her so quickly because of their shared experiences and career goals. They had rushed to the alter and brought into this world a beautiful baby girl. Except his existential crisis had driven a wedge in their married and the more they worked on it the more it seemed to fall apart. He had contemplated becoming a stay at home father but as time went on it became clearer to him that this was not the life he was meant for. And so divorce papers were signed, co-parenting agreements made, and Felix moved back to the United States. It wasn't exactly ideal to raise a child from another country and he wasn't going to be flying her over here ever few months. Instead Felix made sure to make time to travel back to the UK to see visit his daughter. Something he now desired move than ever as the FaceTime screen goes out and the last smiling frame of his four year old toddler dissapears. Life has turned upside down in the last few months. He's lucky to even have a job still as most companies had trimmed down due to loss of revenue. Felix thought about moving back to the UK when things started to go south. But he stayed put. It was probably for the best, because he does end up getting sick, thankfully mid symptoms but months have passed and he still can't do a couple flight of stairs before feeling winded. He stays up at night sometimes wondering if there's more going on inside him that won't be figured out until years from now. His doctor assures him that he'll be alright and that he would lead a normal life. But the thought still lingers.

Father of three human children, three dogs (or was it four), and one cat. Things were going well in their domestic bliss. Being a vice principal for the past couple years had given him a bit less stress. Arthur's shop was seeing continued success and their married life as for the most part, blissful. Then 2020 happened, and even though with years of therapeutic drugs and the practically zero value of viral count in Arthur's tests, Adrian can't help but worried every day that Arthur may catch covid and his compromised immune system would not be able to fight it off. The moment he's given the option to work from home Adrian takes it. He becomes and anxious mess carrying masks and handsanitizer everywhere he goes. He sits Jude and Freddie down and teaches them proper handwashing techniques and makes sure they're careful when they're out in public. He knows. He knoooooows its driving Arthur mad to see him like this, but Adrian doesn't even want to imagine what could happen if Arthur gets sick. He swears this year alone has made him age four years physically. So far their little bubble has had no impact. But its been due to their over protective measures. Christmas has come and usually Adrian would be all for celebrating his favorite holiday, but this year he puts the tree up only to keep the magic alive with the kids. Natalie is still too young to really get it but he doesn't want her to go a year without Christmas. 

After moving to Canterbury I think his perspective on life began to change. He became less selfish and more aware of what he should be grateful for in life. He fell hard for Cordelia who moved away to New York, which only pushed him harder to find his own happiness in life. Seeing his friends in town start their families and succeed in work helped him with this. Eventually, word got out that he had moved to the states and his current recovery problems with his leg. A medical research team reached out to him for clinical trials based out of NYC, they would use him as their high profile win an advanced scar tissue repair. Trials would go well, and though he would make a recovery he wouldn't make a return to European soccer. Instead he would join the MLS and play for the Seattle Sounders until the pandemic begins. Having retired his father moved to the states to be wish Mateo but his mother would be in Spain with his two siblings. The MLS season would be cut short and though he would travel to Florida for the MLS bubble, he would be worried sick about returning to Seattle and possibly getting his father sick. It wouldn't be his father he needed to worry about, his mother passes away in the the end of September. Both he and his father do not travel to the funeral due to restrictions and fear of possibly getting sick themselves. Though he was closest to his father and he protects him as best he can, Mateo can't help but feel at loss and in pain that he couldn't return to see his mother one last time nore could he be there for his siblings even with their strained relationships. Is this the price he had to pay? Finally just as things began to go well again, he was thrown back into a different type of pain one that he's not quite sure he could recover from.
