the one and only true mood for june
Iâm watching La La Land and itâs ok but it could be a lot better!
Ryan Gosling didnât seem suited to the musical aspects of the role, maybe cast a different hearthrob with more experience in the genre, like Zac Efron
Emma Stone similarly didnât seem to thrive with the singing and dancing, so maybe cast someone again with experience and heck why not someone with proven chemistry with zac efron.. maybe vanessa hudgens
Maybe if the male love interest was into something a little more relatable than Jazz? Like maybe basketball?Â
Female character seemed a little flat, maybe if she was also incredibly gifted with math and science?Â
Setting of LA wasnât particularly relatable, maybe if it was set somewhere universal? Like High School?Â
Just watch High School Musical

types of people
radiant - has an aesthetic bedroom, their presence is golden and emits warmth, secretly very insecure, has their own distinct style, has a lot of plans, a daydreamer and escapes through books or movies
gorgeous - drinks coffee, probably feels like they were born in another generation, feels nostalgic late at night, loves wearing black clothes, natural artist and enjoys creating things that reflect their emotions
beautiful - the most comfy person ever, can relax with them with messy hair pajamas and they wonât judge you, always there for you when you need to talk, reminds you of sunsets and summer days
angelic - soulful eyes that remind you of people in beautiful paintings, silky hair, pretty literature, rose perfume, lover of kindness and animals, their presence feels sprinkled all over with glitter and dust
sweet - bright eyes and blushed cheeks on chilly mornings, soft eyes that remind you of the moon, falls in love very easily, dog walking in a field of daisies, a little clumsy at times, lover of sweet things and always trying to make people smile
breathtaking - their vibe makes you want to travel the world with them and go somewhere without any plans, they have the brightest smile that can leave you speechless, easily bored and always looking for something new, very kind but a little stubborn
lovable - going through so much but still trying, gives the best hugs, the best listener, loves oversized jumpers, lonely a lot of the time, finds peace in midnights and music, always a little weighed down
@writerreaderdreamer I canât pick which ones is you, they all you.

I have blood on my knuckles (on the hands that soothe my friends) And rage in my heart (nestled between lungs that breathe hope) I ...
Sometimes I canât tell if I am a person or a tangled mess of hypocritical statements
With the advent of movements such as â Timeâs Up â and #MeToo (a phenomenon that even managed to top the TIME 100 list), a new generation...
If you say I canât, I will say âwatch meâ
I am not a big fan of competition. I'm ridiculously competitive, but I abhor competition. Particularly when it's the high stakes, all-or-not...
In which I ruminate on my ability to procrastinate
Guys, my good friend has started writing about her experiences - sheâs funny, kind, articulate and very relatable; throw her a follow if you can, or even just check out her posts.Â
*sees broom*
*picks up broom*
âTELL THEM HOW I AM DEFYYYYYYYYYING GRAAAAAVITTYYYYâ
*starts sweeping broom sadly*
âThere is a castle on a cloudâŚâ
*holds broom horizontally*
âNever need a reason, never need a rhyme. Up on the roof top step in time!â
*sweeps broom angrily*
âITâS A HARD KNOCK LIFE!â
*begins waltzing with broom* I could have DAAAAANCED all NIIIIIGHT
*hits broom handle on the ground and tap dances* LOOK AT ME! IM THE KING OF NEW YORK!
*gently places broom against a wall* Iâm the belle of the ball in my own little corner!
*broom starts dancing of its own accord* BE. OUR. GUEST!
so apparently musicals have a thing for brooms huh
we all love a sweeping musical number

Feminists donât wanna live in a world without men, we want to live in a world without patriarchy and violent, toxic hyper-masculinity
So a world where men canât be themselves.
Being violent and overly masculine is men âbeing themselvesâ? Sounds like youâre the one who wants to demonize men
THIS. christ, i am so here for the option of being a man who can nurture kids, and make squeaky noises over cute animals, and not have to constantly present myself as some kind of hard-hearted, aggressive asshole to keep from being beat down by other men who are afraid of getting Teh Ghey on them. toxic masculinity is TERRIBLE for men, and i refuse to participate in it.
which means, as a man, itâs beneficial for me to hang out with feminists as much as possible. theyâre the ones whoâll let me be myself, not insecure dudebros who are so scared someone will see through their hyper-masculine facade that theyâll attack any guy who doesnât front that way.
evil feminists: we believe that men can be good and kind and experience a full range of human emotions and desires and sexualities while also treating their fellow human beings of all genders with compassion and respect
heroic dude: not all men
Toxic/Hyper masculinity is watching a friend of mine being mocked and shamed for crying when his big sister died. Because men donât cry, apparently, they should punch something instead. When his cousin was told he had to stop playing piano and pick up an âless sissyâ instrument, and that preferring soccer to football was âwimpyâ and made him âbasically a girlâ. Itâs when a grown man in a tow truck CRIES when he breaks down and tells me how his divorce is going, because he doesnât feel like he can talk about it with any of his guy friends and he doesnât feel like heâs allowed to be friends with women, so heâs been bottling up all his sadness and worry about his family breaking apart and his kids struggling to handle it. And then reacts with shame after because he should âbe a manâ about it and âjust suck it upâ. No one should be forced to bottle up emotions to the point where one kind question from a stranger unleashes a decade or more of emotions locked away.
Thatâs the kind of thing we want to change. Itâs fine to like football or not to react to sadness with tears. But we donât want all men to be forced into having to do things one way to be considered âreal menâ. Those should be choices, not requirements.
The point isnât that all masculinity is toxic. Masculinity is fine! But when people are forced to be hyper masculine itâs a problem.

1 (16 ounce) box large elbow macaroni 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons bacon fat (saved from cooking bacon, OR 4 tablespoons butter mixed with some goya seasonings â 1/3 to half a packet.) 1â4 cup flour 1 teaspoon salt 1â2 teaspoon dry mustard 1â4 teaspoon pepper 2 1â2 cups milk 1 1â2 cups white cheddar cheese, grated 1 cup smoked gouda cheese, grated 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 cup diced tomatoes (roasted) liquid smoke, to taste paprika, to taste DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 375. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions. In large saucepan, melt butter/fat over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper until smooth; take off heat. Little by little, stir in milk until smooth. Stir constantly for 10 minutes on heat until thick; take off heat. Stir in cheeses in handfuls until melted Add Liquid Smoke if using. Put cooked macaroni in a greased casserole dish, pour cheese mixture over and mix well. Stir in tomatoes. Sprinkle paprika and leftover Cheddar cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes This is a scaled down recipe from what Steve did, and Steve has the advantage of an industrial broiler, so he basically threw it into the pot, then added a handful of cheese on top and broiled it for like 4 minutes or so.Â
