Wow It’s Archer

I am studying to be a comic artist/animator in college currently. I haven’t posted in Tumblr in a really long time, but I wanted another place to share my art.

If you have any art questions, I’d love to offer some advice! Don’t expect a quick response, however, if I have the time I would love to make a few posts sharing some knowledge.

I have a few stories I like to make characters for, and I’m sure you’ll see some of those on my page in the future!

A princess of Dedlyns esteemed royal family. She’s a girls girl, but the most important girl for her just happens to be in the mirror. When royal family members come of age, they give themselves a pseudonym. Something to,,,, cushion any harsh accusations the press may publish about them. A name representative of the gorgeousness and delicate nature of themselves. It is common to name yourself after something grand.

Hymenopus coronatus, Mantis. Danaus plexippus, Monarch.

With confidence, and pride, and to the horror of some of her family members, she named herself after the most prominent, terrifying magic eater in Dedlyn.

Meet Isurus Coleoptera. Shark.

She is. Beautiful.

Her and Joan met at one of Joan’s band’s underground shows at The Cage, Dedlyns hottest (and least legal) music venue.

Joan can see she’s been through something, and she might still be going through it.

Osiris. She blows those glowing clown heads like bubbles from her fingers, and when she looks into the reflections she can see visions of the future. Much like the mythos of Cassandra, her prophecies always seem too outlandish to come true. Her shirt shines like the night sky, and when the stage lights hit her hair it is as though the moon is right in front of you on stage. Something about her seems frightened, as though she knows something is just around the corner you can’t see. But it’s all just part of the act, right?

I really have a soft spot for this drawing.
