I am glad that Zhang Qiling is aware of Wu Xie’s health problems, it’s a nice change from a lot of cdramas/kdramas where partners hide their deadly diseases/curses/injuries from one another. It gives some really interesting scenes with them like a real couple navigating a serious diagnosis.

I suppose Zhang Qiling knew what he was getting into when he married Wu Xie.

I love that Hei Xiazi initially decided on the stealth route by stealing the guard uniform but then gave up and decided to just deck a guy. Also, have you considered calling in your situationship???

Okay, yeah I’d say after the interactions we’ve had in the last two episodes that Zhang Qiling has been in we can cross off the ‘Gay’ box. It’s definitely a more domestic vibe they’ve got now. Yeah, somehow since Ultimate Note their energy has gotten even more married - I suppose because now they actually are married. (Yes I’m aware Ultimate Note is an entirely different production that came out a few months after this series but I’m going by the timeline)
