Help a Rocket Survive a Month
As some of you may have noticed I've been mentioning A Big Move upcoming. Back in March, my home state of Kansas decided that passing one of the country's worst transphobia laws sounded like a good idea. Which means it's no longer safe for me to stay in the place I've lived most of my life and the community I've built and I'm moving on east!
This is where y'all come in.
I've got a place to land and I've got a job in New York that I'm already working for. But thanks to Location Rules I won't see my East Coast salary until September, which means I am paying for New York City area deposits and fees, closing accounts and opening new ones, and paying for a goddamn moving truck all on Kansas City money. I am flat broke to put it bluntly and still have to pay for gas and food for Morgana and I for the next few weeks.
Things are tight for everyone and I won't ask for much. I can even offer up editing/formatting services in exchange. But if anyone feels so compelled as to send a little bit to my kofi you don't know how grateful I'd be.
