spent the last two days reading every kaiba/cest fic on ao3 which has been very arresting. I only ever caught snippets of y/g/oh when I was young, never watched the show because 1. the main character is unspeakably ugly TO ME and 2. I don’t care about card games (sexy dark magician card safe) HOWEVER from the very little I saw I knew there were deep emotions between the brothers and the younger one was always being kidnapped it seemed so the older brother had to keep rescuing him and I was into all that and that interest did scare me a bit at the time yes
