i can't wait for december that's like THE lifting month lol
I made a little diagram about something that I think is very important but have never seen discussed, which is how to properly leave a store
I find this is extremely important when you know you are going to beep, think you might beep, or have a feeling they are onto you. If you were never even seen leaving there is no way for them to stop you. I find this works best in mall stores which tend to have the big open exits with displays near them but the concept can be applied to any store.
If anyone is confused or needs further explaining Iâd be happy to answer questions :)
One of the hardest thing about this method don't look back.
Pick your store, spots and the time. Timing is everything. know what they doing or when.
One like to dress neutral color and blend into the Environment. Exit calmly and get lost into the Is crowd or environment.
If you beeps get out the mall find that tag, never do it front of the cameras or in front of security.
That's one way of doing a walkout guys.
@lemonlifts Awesome post
SmartShop!
I don't know about countries outside the UK, but over here supermarkets are currently encouraging customers to use a service called 'SmartShop'.
Essentially how it works is they give you a tiny scanning device that you may use to scan your items and put them in your shopping bag as you go.
Which is great for lifters because it means putting items directly in your bag is no longer suspicious.
But to prevent you from just pretending to scan items, the device makes a very loud beeping noise every time you scan one, so obviously just slipping something into your bag with no 'beep' sound will still look like criminal activity.
But!!!
Something that I realized today was that when you use the touchscreen on the device to cancel an item, the scanner doesn't make any sound. So you can go around the store scanning everything, then just as you're about to check out (you do this by going to a self checkout machine and linking it to the scanning device, the self checkout downloads you cart and then you pay there as normal) you can just delete the most expensive items from your cart and save money! There's no weighing involved so the machine can't actually verify what's in your bag.
So long story short, I paid ÂŁ12 for a ÂŁ82 shop, saving ÂŁ70 đł
you know the haul is good when you feel a little guilty

my first ever haul!! i loved the necklace and the white shirt looks so good on me, i got a bff necklace for me and @liftingmoth and some string to make hair braids!!
vinnies:
string bag - $2
kmart:
necklace - $4
bff neclace - $4
ring packets - $8 ($4ea)
brush - $5
typo:
phone strap: $15
target:
cropped shirt: $15
white shirt: $40
total: $78 !!
this is probably a frothing hot take but if you, as a minimum wage employee, get pissed about recreational shoplifters (i.e.: people not stealing for survival) because you think that shoplifting has any impact on your wage or job security
guess what! it's actually the corporation you work for that is threatening you. if they tell you wages are low because people are stealing, not only are they lying to you, the only reason they're telling you that is to make clear to you how precarious your employment is and how they see you as financially interchangeable to a tube of lipgloss. if your employer in any way telegraphs to you, explicitly or implicitly, that your livelihood is somehow tied to someone stealing something, this is a direct attempt to make you feel powerless, small and disposable
rage against corporations is such good motivation to l1ft
I hate lĂżfter TikTok, but this made me laugh ââżâ
i hate when i have to pay for stuff. i literally would have it for free if i just lifted it </3 makes me so mad

idk how to say this in a way ppl will listen but STOP TALKING ABOUT SHOPLIFTING ON POPULAR SOCIAL MEDIA LIKE TIKTOK WHERE LIFTING HUBS HAVE ACTIVE ACCOUNTS!!!!
like yeah its cool to give lifting tips but you seem to forget that most stores have lnstagr@m and tlkt0k and twltter accounts. i can assure u someone is seeing your lifting tips and making it harder for people to actually lift.
i just saw a tikt0k about lifting from w@lmar+ and the tiktok got a comment from w@lmart saying that they would make changes so that wouldnt happen in the future. its not cool!! it doesnt help people who actually lift to survive at all!!
To all the new l1fters that have joined this little community while I took a hiatus from posting. And to all "borrowers" from tik tok. We don't want this community to get outted like it was in 2015. Keep our community small, hidden and safe. This isn't tiktok. This isn't a game.
Like the first rule of fight club is you don't talk about fight club. The first rule of l1ftb1r is you don't talk about l1ftb1r.
DO NOT USE LIFTING TAGS! You are endangering l1ftb1r and yourself!!!! If you have used tags edit your posts so they don't have tags

Masterlist of stores (WIP: Updated Sep. 2022)
WĂĄĆmĂ rt - Has dedicated LP/AP. They are easy to spot however. Avoid electronics, womenâs, baby care, makeup, perfume, clearance, and jewelry (if applicable). Best is kids toys, and grocery. Will chase, prosecute, and ban. Not supposed to call police for anything under $25 but Iâve had friends experience otherwise. Goes for all stores operating under SĂĄmâs Club/WĂĄĆmĂĄrt INC.
MïçhĂ ĂšĆâs - Unfortunately some stores have LP/AP and are dedicated (like mine). Mostly are plainclothes walking around with earpieces and/or walkie talkies. Has alarm/censors. Avoid lĂŻfting in fine arts. Toys, home decor, and notebooks/sketchbooks are a safer bet. Has sensors located around all doors and doors will lock if activated to avoid a theft occurring (some may some may not).
PĆĂĄtöâĆ CĆösĂšt - No LP. Tags almost everything. Easy beginner level store for who wants to use tools. Staff are younger to teenagers who could probably care less about merchandise. Few cameras, and mirrors. Just conceal between articles of clothing.
BĂŽĂŽks Ă MĂŻllÄ«on - Has cameras but not actively monitored. No known LP/AP. Best to conceal in childrenâs isles, religious readings, and clearance. Avoid records/vinyls. Only store manager has the power to call police/prosecute.
BĂĄrĆeĆ @ NöbĆe - Has cameras that arenât actively monitored. Only store managers have authority to be AP/LP and call police. Wonât chase. But will try to get a photo of your license plate. Childrenâs sections are best to conceal in. Avoid records/vinyls and electronics.
UĆtĂĄ - Has cameras and are actively monitored. Most employees have AP/LP training as you are hardly ever shopping alone. They will follow you around the store. Will call police and some cases will chase. Best to conceal in isles closest to the doors if you want to make a fast escape.
SĂšphörĂ - Mall stores are severely dangerous. Youâre better off just going to Ă»ĆtĂĄ. *Avoid the ones that are connected to a JĂP*. Will chase, prosecute, ban, etc. Stand alone stores such as outdoor malls/shopping centers are your safest bet if you plan to make a fast escape.
TĂĄrgĂšt - Similar to Walmart but zero blind spots as there are a lot of cameras and can rotate. Dedicated AP. Will chase, prosecute, ban, and case build. Better off to go to one location and never go back after a Ćift.
SaĆĆĂżâs - Very lax. No LP/AP as of to date. Avoid corners as there are cameras/mirrors. Only 1-3 employees in the store. Assume cameras are being watched. Better to conceal in the middle isles or the inner part of outer isles. Not known to chase, prosecute, or ban.
Höt Töpic/Böx Lûnch - They operate under the same parent company Sycamore Partners. Some stores my have cameras but are hard to see. Store managers will act as AP but will call district supervisors if a large theft as occurs. Be fast and use common sense. Cameras may be monitored and items are counted in fitting room. Safest bet is to lighting conceal. They all have door alarms and are triggered very easily.
Höbbÿ Löbbÿ - Most stores have LP. Cameras are most likely not monitored but just pretend they are. Be fast and couscous. Best to conceal in home decor and toys. Avoid fine arts and electronics.
MĂŻchĂĄĂšl KörĆ/KĂĄte SpĂ de/Cöåçh - Stores are small and has dedicated staff to act as LP. Merchandise is scarce and itâs easy to tell if something went missing. Will call police, prosecute, and ban. Hardest is Cöåçh. Avoid Boutiques. Safest bet is outlet locations as they are cheaper and slightly bigger than normal retail locations in bigger malls.
AĂšröpoĆtale - (How are they still in business lmao) Cameras are monitored but only LP is store managers or PIC. Not known to prosecute will most likely ask for merchandise back. Conceal fast and leave. Avoid clearance sections as they are closest to checkout area. Some stores have door alarms Iâve seen some they do and some that donât.
VĂšrĂĄ BrĂĄdĆeĂż - Stores are small and has dedicated staff to watch merchandise. No known LP but staff is dedicated. Will call mall security. Safest bet is to lightning conceal ID/lanyards, and small wallets. Customer to staff ratio is 2:1.
GĂĄmĂšStöp - Avoid mall stores. Later at night usually 1-2 people working. Cameras arenât actively monitored and donât record. Best to conceal fast and leave. Sometimes making a purchase will deter accusation. If youâre alone in the store with staff they will watch you.
PĂštco/PĂštsmart - Cameras record but arenât actively monitored. Avoid expensive reptiles/fish isles. Wonât chase, but may prosecute or call police. Thatâs if you get caught but theyâre usually vaping in the break room lol.
BĂ th Ăñd Bödy WĂČrkĆĄ - Newer locations have cameras but arenât known to record. Avoid mall stores and go for outdoor shopping centers. Will CS you do death if suspected. Best bet is to lightning conceal and leave asap.
ĂĂĄrthböûñd - Newer locations have cameras. Tagging is currently unknown. Staff and store managers will act as LP. Wonât prosecute but will ask for merch back and may ban you. Avoid concealing in jewelry sections.
SpÚñcĂšrs - Cameras arenât actively monitored but do record. Avoid lingerie/adult toys isles. Will chase. Store managers will act as LP.
CĆaĂźrĂšâs - Newer stores have cameras. Store managers may act as LP. Wonât prosecute or chase but will ask for merch back and ban you. Best time to lĂŻft is while theyâre doing a piercing on a customer.
Måçÿâs/DĂŻllīà rdâĆĄ/JÄP - Stores have dedicated LP and may have an actual police officer in the back rooms (I have first person experience and it was not pleasant.) Will chase, prosecute, and ban you via making you sign a trespass. Cameras rotate and they do case build. Will issue civil demand. If you get charged you may have to contact an attorney. They will remember you as I scoped out the location 3 weeks prior to my lĂŻft. They remembered me.
WĂ ĆgrÚéñâĆ & ĂVĆ - Regional LP. Will get called in when a theft has occurred (but usually ORC from employees). Wonât prosecute usually but will chase or try to get a picture of your license plate. Avoid liquor isles. Inner isles without the mirrors are your safest bet.
DöĆĆĂĄr GĂšnĂšrĂąĆ - Cameras arenât actively monitored but they will follow you if suspected. They do tag and have door sensors.
DöĆĆĂąr TrĂȘĂ© - Since they are getting more expensive merchandise some have cameras. Arenât actively monitored but will get followed around if suspected. Easy store. Use common sense.
Any stores operating under the TJX brand. (MĂĄrshĂĄlĆs TJMĂĄxx) Have LP and cameras are actively monitored. Frequent tagging and has door sensors. Strict with fitting room. Will chase, prosecute, and ban.
RöĆĆĄ - Employs AP. Will have the letters âLPâ or âloss preventionâ on the back of their shirts, usually men. Will call police, sometimes chases and cameras are actively monitored. Overtags everything. Best bet is to grab and run.
BĂŻg LötĆ - Regional LP. Cameras arenât actively monitored. Outside isles have mirrors. Avoid back of the store because that will cause you to have suspicion. Wonât chase, sometimes calls police, always bans.
ĂĆd NĂąvĂż - (credits goes to @readysetlift) My old navy does have security (not in the best area) I have another store like 30 mins from me that does not. Easiest to conceal on the dressing room. I find blind spots in baby section and boy sections. Need a magnet to pop tags. Most kids stuff is not tagged. Most if not all sweats/joggers/jeans are tagged near the ankle. Most t-shirts are not tagged.
BĂŒrkĂ©Ć ĂĂŒlĂšt - Has LP and closely watches cameras. Cameras can rotate. However there are blind spots and are spread throughout the stores. The menâs department is best for concealing or childrenâs apparel. Avoid makeup and handbags. Not known to chase but may prosecute and ban.
KöhĆĆ - (I have first hand experience with this as well). Cams are heavily monitored and do record. Has 1-3 LP agents at several points of the store. They may act as door greeters and may be behind the customer service desk as soon as you walk in. Best to conceal is home decor. Avoid electronics, handbags, and apparel. Will block doors, call police, and prosecute.
BĂŒrĆĂŻngtĂ¶Ć - Has LP but cameras arenât heavily monitored. Cameras are very scarce. Best to conceal is clearance, shoes, and home decor. Wonât chase but will try to call you back into the store or may try to block doors. Will prosecute if you refuse to cooperate.
DĂŻckĆ Spörtïñg GöÞdĆ - Iâm not sure if they have LP but employees are dedicated. Most of them wear earpieces. Not known to chase but will prosecute and call police. Try to avoid all together because everything is expensive.
BĂ©d BĂ th & BÚÿóñd - Regional LP. Workers will follow you if youâre suspicious. Cameras can rotate and are monitored and recorded. Best to conceal in shower curtains. Avoid electronics. Will prosecute, call police, and ban.
CĂŻtÄ« TrÚñds - No AP but managers can act if necessary. Not many cameras and donât rotate. Blind spots are everywhere just make sure youâre quick. Managers in the office may watch cameras very closely so assume someoneâs in the office at all times.
This list is currently a work in progress (wip) so it may get changed overtime.

i got fucking caught today i hate it here
long story short, i got cocky. read on for the whole story
i was out with a friend and we went to FYE. i showed her some socks, she liked them, i put them in my bag without checking for tags or rdifâs. this was mistake number 1
i detagged 4 cds i was getting as gifts for my friends. then i moved on to mini brands and an animal crossing mystery keychain. my friend cashed out and we walked out. we beeped. i stood by the escalator and she went back in and let the lady check her bag. my friend didnât lift so no harm no foul.
the lady waved me back in and i didnât beep on my way in. my mind was racing because i didnât think there was anything on me that couldâve gone off. i had a bag from hot topic and let her look in it cause all my stuff was in my purse. she asked to look in my purse and the conversation went as follows
me: âi rather you not i have a lot of weird personal medical stuff i have to carry with me.â
her: âwell ok if thatâs the case we can get security people here to take a look for meâ
me: âthatâs not necessary, i probably just beeped because of my heart monitor. my doctor warned me it could set off stuff like this sometimes.â
her: âwell you didnât go off coming in so i have to insist on checking your bagsâ
me: âmaâam iâm within my rights to refuse a bag search. iâm telling you it was just my heart monitor. itâs done this before.â
her, turning to the phone: âok then iâll just get security up hereâ
me: i donât have anything
her, getting in my business: you wouldnât have gone off if you didnât. hand it over and i wonât call them. i know you took something
so i reaches in my bag and grabbed the first thing i touched. one of the cds i detagged. she waved it past the towers and when it didnât go off she told me âkeep it comingâ
at this point thereâs a line of 5 people behind me and my friend. iâm losing my mind over this lady being fucking aggressive and embarrassed that 5 people are witnessing it. SA lady turns to address one of the customers because she thinks sheâs recording. she bitches at the lady that sheâs not allowed to (pretty sure she is) and the customer just tells her to calm the fuck down and told her she shouldnât be acting like this to anybody no matter what she thinks i did.
she threatens to get security again so i just hand over everything to get my hot topic bag back and leave with my criminal record untouched. i didnât figure out it must have been the socks until i got to my car.
i got cocky and greedy. i just canât believe it was a fucking pair of socks that got me
it was honestly best case scenario for getting caught. no security or cops. just a shitty sales associate telling me not to come back.
the friend i was with bought some socks and opened them today so i can update yâall on what kind of tags they had
same kind of little bar tags you see on CDs but they were folded inside one of the socks and tucked inside one of the other pairs. not every pair she got was tagged but apparently FYE tags fucking socks
