Idk if just feel like whenever we get a character whose highly intelligent always has this "i dont do people" and constantly putting people beneath them and disregarding emotions and human connection as trivial or a waste of time

So to have Derlord, who is known as the smartest MC ARG protagonist, to have him OUTSMART a literal devine being MULTIPLE times- and still do everything in his power to protect Avery, to make it known that he cares about Avery. To the POINT that said devine being USED AVERY'S SKIN TO LURE DERLORDE AWAY?

Giblet having a poster covering a mirror unit of his former self so he can look at that as opposed to his current state and also has a cut-out acting heroic and protective yet he constantly brings up not being a hero what if I just explode and die
