haaiii hai hai hopefully this is good im trying to push through art block (lyrics are from Ulterior Motives. TELL ME THE TRUUUUUTH) I think it sucks how much people interpret Kris as solely evil. Like is a lot of the stuff they're doing a little fucked?? yeah. But also the amount of pressure all these fully grown adults are putting on them is INSANE. Like I love toriel but: - Kris goes missing ALL DAY, and she doesn't go looking for them despite Dess' dissapearance still being spoken about ? Like it's one thing to trust your kid, but also ...people have disappeared in this town. Undyne literally went missing a day prior. Their tires were slashed the night before. What the hell girl (CH4) - Carol having some sort of "deal" with Kris that forces them to keep secrets from both Susie and Noelle, arguably their closest friends (CH4, hand on their shoulder which EUGH and everything) which isolates them - weird route - Asgore putting the weight of the divorce onto Kris REPEATEDLY. Ch2 and Ch4's bouquet (with implications he's done this like. dozens of times before, trash having a floral scent in ch1 etc) and doing this in public, even when Kris has friends around - Kris' entire side of the bedroom looking neglected/empty in contrast to Asriel's (which Susie points out in CH4 and gives Kris a star). Clearly they don't like the emptiness of it given how their bedroom is in the Dark World. - Whoever the Knight is, also having a deal with Kris, and forcing Kris to kneel after literally beating up their friends with a plethora of other shit Like this poor kid, older teen/close to adulthood or not, like that's just beyond fucked up. Almost every adult in Kris' life has failed them time and time again. And the only two adults Kris believes would understand are either away in college, or missing and possibly dead. :( NOT TO MENTION THE FORESHADOWING THAT THEY MIGHT LOSE THEIR HAND??????? OKAY?? AND THEIR LACK OF AUTONOMY OVER THEIR OWN BODY Like Susie and Noelle are going to find out eventually. Noelle already slightly suspects something is off. Imagine what that's going to be like for them. Because we're not in control ALL the time, and when they take the reins its to protect their loved ones, or provide reassurance (hugging ralsei in ch4, protecting susie in ch1, etc). Especially with how they say the dialogues that we select (their tone of voice). A lot of it is still them. But will Susie and Noelle believe that? Will they doubt Kris' authenticity? Probably. It'll suck for them. And Ralsei by extension, as Ralsei is aware. Also their nail polish is the color for the soul of Patience bc I thought it was cute.

Note, it's hard to tell, but i literally just like smacked a lesbian pride flag and then blurred it and overlayed it over the sky to look like a sunset. no clue if its noticeable or not which is why im putting it here. had a LOT of fun making the background!! :D

HEYYY . Happy Juneteenth everybody! This is a combined Pride and Juneteenth post. I personally HC Queen Essence as bisexual and King Quincy as Pansexual. I mostly used these two to celebrate Juneteenth as Funk Trolls are, well, funk, and Funk originated from African American communities. Plus, with their hairstyles and the messaging of World Tour, it's safe to say they definitely aren't intended to be white. I think, out of the 3 Trolls Movies-- HOT TAKE, I actually love World Tour's messaging and story the most. (The music isn't as good and I don't think the songs represent the genres as well as they should, outside of rock and pop, but everything else is pretty great!) like. i know they're movies for kids, and i love band together as much as the next guy as the music is stellar, but can we admit the messaging of trolls 1 and trolls 3 are like, incredibly flawed and don't give the right message to kids or people in general?? that's not the purpose of this post, though, so i'm gonna save that for another time (or another post in regards to trolls fanart, depends.) NOW for the main focus of the post: I chose to draw these two as it's Juneteenth, today, for American peers. I discussed this a little bit on my other post, because unfortunately TADC Ep 9 falls on Juneteenth, coincidentally, which means a huge chunk of fans from there are just going to..yk. Forget. about it. Again, as stated on previous, if you don't know what Juneteenth is, it's a federal holiday that celebrates the ending of Slavery in the United States. While it wasn't what established voting rights, or equal rights in general, it was one big step that helped contribute to the change that was to come in our country. It's incredibly important to acknowledge, learn more, and spread the word about Juneteenth and other important events in U.S. history in regards to marginalized groups as a whole. This country's political and cultural climate is toxic more than ever, and lately it's felt as though we've taken more steps back than we have forward. We need to remember our roots, our origins, WHY these changes happened, why they're important. If we forget, we fall victim to the very mindsets that allowed these steps backs to occur in the first place. Please remember to share, uplift, and support people of color (primarily African Americans in regards to this holiday). Do not speak over them. I'm Puerto Rican, hence why I am not overly explaining the Holiday and instead am trying to give us all the opportunity to discuss, learn, and share information about the holiday and the steps we've taken as a society to ensure that we're all listened to and treated with respect. If anybody wants to share resources, PLEASE go ahead, both for me and for others who aren't fully educated on the holiday. Personally I've been using this reddit post to navigate and research (and see if there was anything i hadn't been taught before) and it's worked pretty well, is accurate to what I've remembered and read, and is relatively recent all things considered. I hope everybody has a happy Juneteenth, and a happy pride as well! Love y'all :)

i'm INCREDIBLY happy about the canonization of trans jax :)))) I actually have this post scheduled 2 weeks in advance (it's june 6th rn) so HOPEFULLY I post this around a time that most people will have already viewed the episode. I'll add a spoiler tag just in case though. BY THE WAY. AMERICAN FOLKS. YEAH. US. US AMERICANS. YEAH. YEAH YOU. ITS JUNETEENTH. PLEASE REMEMBER IT'S JUNETEENTH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. If you're someone that is unsure as to WHAT Juneteenth is (which would be a little surprising if you're American) IT IS A FEDERAL HOLIDAY TO CELEBRATE THE END OF SLAVERY IN THE U.S. PLEASE make sure to support your black friends/content creators/artists and to uplift ALL of their voices (you should all the time, but especially today) please do not forget about the holiday just because TADC Ep 9 released on youtube today. We need attention to holidays and topics like this now more than ever in this country, PLEASE. Also, ALSO, make sure to research the holiday, it's origins, what happened before and after Slavery was ended, etc. I think I have another art piece scheduled for today that, while slightly pride themed, is for Juneteenth, which I'll probably discuss more in the read more under that post. For now, uh, honestly this reddit post looks like a good place to start. I've read through it and researched the links, and it's pretty up to date and accurate. I'd look at other websites, but a lot of things are outdated, and a lot of linked websites (like black history books, etc) have been taken down/removed. Which is..saddening, but not surprising given our current cultural climate. happy pride everyoneee :))) im aroace myself ACTUALLY. it's incredibly saddening to see the increase in people believing that asexuals and aromantics arent "real" sexualities or "qualified" to be apart of the community. Which I think is stupid. Like, I vividly remember being a teen and telling a friend of mine that I never wanted to have sexual intercourse of any kind, to which she made fun of me and called me a "virgin jane" or something. and that's just the tip of the iceberg, and im SURE a lot of other aromantics/asexuals have had similar experiences. like is it just me or did we get sexual/romantic remarks way more than the average person JUST BECAUSE we identified as aromantic/asexual. i gotta know if this was a common experience Just a reminder to anybody feeling bad about being aromantic/asexual this pride month, remember you're valid. you exist. you ARE apart of this community. We're great the way we are, and yes, we deserve to be included. Please remember that. so i of course made a couple tweaks, YES she is still a teacher canonically but i think her lore in Equestria Girls, if it was my way, would be this: Luna and Celestia are still immortal beings that are in charge of running the University (UNIVERSITY, NOT HIGH SCHOOL.. :/) and have powers similar to Sunset Shimmer and Pony Twilight. Nobody outside the University ever notices they're practically immortal. Nor do the students. I gave Luna a little bit more of a youthful look, mostly because I have seen young teachers dress that way but also the choice to make the two immortal beings opens back up the possibility of Luna having a banishment. I think, though, it'd be a "evil sunset shimmer" scenario and Luna gets trapped in an amulet. Gave her more of a night-sky theme, and nobody's going to notice this but I made her hair shaped like a crescent moon to overall give her a moon-like silhouette. I thought it'd be cute. :) I think functionally she'd be one of the main owners of the University, but she'd probably just stick to being a librarian that handles the school clubs. Like in canon, they're all intimidated by her even though she's just a little silly. She doesn't get social cues yet, guys. Gave her lighter colored freckles so she'd have a star theme going on as well. Gave her glasses bcuz i felt like it. I also tweaked her colors so that her color scheme would resemble her pony form more (her wearing glittery light purple heels to resemble her pony forms shoes, the black belt (where her cutie mark would be on pony form), etc. Her skin color is literally her pony color exactly I just moved the H part of the HSV slider to orange/red. that's literally all i did. Why didn't the creators do that. What is their problem. oh i also gave her gloves, again, since her pony form has the fancy shoes so i thought it'd work well. hoop earrings bc hehe moon. gave her cat shaped eyes to add to her looking intimidating without meaning to. i think thats everything!!! :)
