I've been thinking about this since you sent the ask, but hear me out. Imagine if this was true. Where Rey would have been the Skywalker bloodline and not Ben. Imagine if it had been reversed where she was in his place and it had been Ben who was the "nobody" Or in the least being the scoundrel of a scavenger like his pa. Would he still be the pathtetic wet cat that we all know and love? Or would we all still love the idiot even if he'd be a mini Han ehehehehe. Or would we not even have our Rey at all but some other version of her character? So many delightful thuoghts to ponder here. OR If they had been married would Luke be pulled into the world of Alderaan or would Miramir be pulled to the humble life of farm life on Tatooine before everything goes down. I wonder what would be their go to since both would be such a grand and new adventure for the both of em. Even if Miramir had eventually ended up on the hell of Jakku. But I suppose as long as they have eachother then no adventure is too grand. Personally I do enjoy the idea of this farm boy with the handmaiden daughter. I wonder if they would find a sense of familiarity and solace in one another.

oh absolutely!!!! If only Luke didn't freak things up then maybe Ben wouldve had a fun aunt who likes to tease him! I like to imagine Jade would be so huggy/handsy with Ben and even do things like ruffle his hair no matter how big hes grown :D. Deff would take him on risky and yet fun adventures and be like "Don't tell your uncle" type beat I like to think. ( I dont know much about Jade admittedly other than she was an assassin sent to kill Luke but married him instead so I do hope this satisfies you :D)

I can see it!! Not only that but would make Reylo all the more tragic if you think about it T-T. Since his grandmother would've been close with Rey's. (Which I am learning that Sabe actually had romantic feelings for Padme??? And that they had been shared to a degree??? Tragic yuri??? Hello???) ugah. Pain. It also reminds me of that line Rey speaks in TFA: "I didn't know there was this much green in the whole galaxy" and this post I saw some time ago that was talking about how what if Rey had been originally from Naboo before residing in Jakku. How she might be missing such lush enviornments and the sort so Takodana just making her :O but also unknowingly miss such things after growing up in the hell that is Jakku? (Which speaking as someone who comes from very green places I too would be amazed at such greenery were I left in the desert all my life. It had actually happened reverse style when I tripped to L.A a while ago. Place was too desolate in scenery. It sucked.)

But with that last ask I’ve been thinking about a universe where Obi HAD adopted or been Rey’s pa and Oog the ideas are driving me crazy. Yahahah.
