in every political movement no matter how radical or left leaning the women will always be relegated to collateral by the male members. no matter which marginalized identity they belong to or what civil rights they're advocating for, the female members will be the lowest priority if they're even acknowledged at all. misogyny will always be the thing that unites even the noblest and most committed of male activists, even the most destitute and disenfranchised men. they will never fight on behalf of women unless they benefit from it too.

It’s really disgusting sex predators are mocking people for censoring their feet in photos of themselves because there actually was a big problem with foot fetishists creating databases of people and their feet to masturbate to. We should be able to acknowledge that it’s a violation to masturbate to pictures of strangers online to the point where everyone becomes so aware of it they’re not even comfortable showing their fucking feet in pictures, but that wasn’t even the issue. The website wikifeet literally cataloged people and pictures of their feet specifically to jerk off to with their identities attached to it. We’re not allowed to feel any type of way about that though. We’re not even allowed to censor that in photos of ourselves now or else receive ridicule. These sex pests have no problem throwing a fit about kiwifarms and similar websites documenting lolcow pedophiles and how that’s a violation of privacy and dignity, but no having a website of profiles of strangers online with images of their feet specifically to masturbate to is fine. Everyone should be fine with that. It’s actually weird if you start to cover your feet now because you know we have a profile of you on fetish website.

feminists are discouraged from speaking harshly for fear of aggravating/upsetting men, but male responses to feminist critique end up in a retaliation ("oh, you want equality? go work in the mines/i can hit you then/no holding doors for you missy") because they already view the class of women as an enemy class, something to defeat rather than somebody to collaborate with in order to improve the livelihood of all. and so no amount of gentle begging is going to make them reconsider their actions, because by the virtue of being a woman and speaking up for women you are already considered an enemy presenting a case for an enemy class. why should they listen to you?

i think it's really telling that the "saying bitch isn't sexist! i use it for women AND men!" people clearly mean two entirely different things when they use it against women vs. when they use it against men.
