Another episode of Jack’s podcast today and oh god, Renfield wants flies. I hate bugs, they’re so gross, why does he want them? Renfield, just what are you thinking? Please keep the details to yourself though, I don’t want to be sick.

Another letter from Jonathan and it seems something is wrong. Not only has all his paper excluding his journal vanished, but so too have his travel clothes. Could the Count have stolen all of these? But what could he require them for? Surely he isn’t planning to use them when he leaves the castle for London, right?

A little late again, but I’ve caught up with Jonathan’s latest letter and oh…how disappointing it is, seeing his hope burned before his very eyes. The letters weren’t even given to the Count and yet he still received them and opened them to read them himself. If only there was an opening for Jonathan to escape…stay strong, Jonathan! I’m waiting for your next letter!

Ooh, I’ve received a short telegram letter today! And from Arthur! It seems he does plan to meet up with Quincey and Jack and he has some news? I hope they have a fun time, they really seem like such good friends!

And now on to today’s letters! Why, it’s Jack’s podcast! It’s finally premiered, how exciting! And it seems that he’s taking Lucy’s rejection pretty hard so he’s throwing himself into work, especially with this one patient, Renfield. Poor Jack. Hopefully his plans to meet up with Quincey and Arthur later help cheer him up! The three sound like such good friends in Quincey’s letter!

Had to work again yesterday, so time to play catch up again! First up, a letter from my dear friend Lucy and oh my! Three proposals?! How rare and yet how lucky, for her to be loved so much! They all sound quite lovely, though it is sad that they couldn’t all be happy. I wonder what the letter from today will bring…

Now on to Jonathan’s letter from today and…oh dear. The end of his life? Well, at least these pre written letters give him a timeline to work with, in order to escape whatever end the Count has planned for him. Come on, Jonathan! I know you can find something with which to escape!

Man, yesterday’s mail was really late, Jonathan’s letter didn’t arrive until I got back from work! But I can read it now and it seems like the door he previously went through has been sealed. This seems to be both good (cause those weird women or vampires? can’t get to him now) and bad (cause it means that wasn’t a dream). I hope Jonathan’s doing better today…

Finally finished Jonathan’s letter from today and that was certainly a harrowing turn of events. Those women were going to suck his blood, how terrifying! And it’s only due to the Count that Jonathan is okay. Well…as okay as he can be. I’m so scared for him, what could happen next?

Had to work yesterday so I’m playing catch up again! The Count seems to have left Jonathan alone again, so he’s finally free to explore! And he managed to find a whole new wing of the castle? Wow! Hopefully he’ll be a little safer there from the Count than he has been. And maybe even find a way to escape.

Jonathan has written me once more and…oh dear. Things don’t seem to be going well. The Count is crawling out the window like a lizard and Jonathan’s movements are being even further limited. And the Count wants him to stay for a month? Why do I suspect this work trip will be going on for much longer than even Jonathan predicted?

I received a letter from my dear friend Lucy today! It sounds as though she is doing remarkably well, and seems very happy with this Arthur, I hope to hear more about him soon! She seems so happy, it really is good to hear that, I know she deserves all the happiness in the world!

A letter came from my dear friend Mina today and it’s so nice to hear from her! She’s practicing both shorthand and typing in order to have something in common with Jonathan, how sweet! The two of them truly are in love, I can’t wait for their wedding invitations to be sent out! I’m sure it’ll be so lovely! And what’s this? Is love in the air for Lucy too? What rumors is Mina hearing, I wonder?

My dear friend Jonathan wrote to me again and…oh. Oh dear. Okay, this is starting to get scary now. I’m not sure if I trust the Count. He doesn’t have a reflection? And that story he told was so…intense. I hope Jonathan is going to be okay, trapped as he is in that castle…

Another letter from Jonathan today and it seems he’s settling in quite well! That library at the castle sounds amazing, I’d love to explore it! Though it’s quite strange that he hasn’t seen any servants yet and that the Count kept him awake all night for two days in a row now…ah, I’m sure it’s nothing!

I had to work yesterday so I’m a little late, but I’ve caught up with Jonathan’s mail now! It’s nice to hear that he’s safely arrived at Castle Dracula, though that seemed to be a very strange journey. The driver and passengers were acting quite strange, never mind the second driver who followed those blue flames…the Count seems nice though, what a polite host he is! Hopefully Jonathan can finish up his work soon and return home to Mina!

Another letter from Jonathan and he’s preparing to head off to the Count’s castle, though this old couple seem strangely worried for him. Especially this lady, giving him a crucifix like that. What could she know that Jonathan doesn’t? Well, I’m sure it’s nothing, but her care for such a stranger truly is very kind.
