Isn’t that...isn’t that the same thing that’s shouted, sang, to a king? Isn’t that the same thing that was bellowed in front of the the Hiryuu’s castle to the late King Il?

Welp.

I mean, like.....that’s it.

WHAT else is there to be said? He likes her. She likes him. The FRICKIN end.

Honestly, though. The manga is much further along, but don’t tell me you don't squeal at the sight of this. He’s angry...because she JUST DOESN’T GET IT. He doesn’t even like her....He loves her. 

AND SHE REALLY JUST DOESN’T GET IT.

She’s pretty close to getting it, I think. But she’s pushing through all of that shock...and innocence, I would think.

Do I dare disturb the stars and infinite wonder of life? Do I dare question its power and endless depths? It’s magic and mystical gases of splendor and majesty?

No.

I dare not.

Do any of you remember Soo-won saying that there was some thing he had to take care of, when he bumped into Yona? Pft. ‘Course ya do. Okay, well. Have any of you…figured it out? Do you know what it is he had to resolve? Something so important that…he murdered his cousin’s father for it? Okay. Do you remember when Yona and the gang spent the night at Lili’’s little fortress? When she confided in Lili about him? She had acknowledged that she knew she wasn’t strong enough to actually run a kingdom. She’s only 16. She didn’t even know how much her bodyguard meant to her, but she’s supposed to be queen? I think, to some degree, Soo-won has a…mocking way of dealing with her. I want to believe that he’s aware of Hak and Yona’s relationship, or Hak’s side of it anyways. Or, he figured since they ran off together, that something would blossom between them at some point, to some extent. OR. He actually was shocked to hear that Yona loved him and still believes that she does, which would explain him underestimating her. Almost like, 'You love me, so no matter what I do, you’d never hurt me.’ But it’s quite the contrary for her. Which is why she can be so forceful in the way she says things and in the manner of which she treats him. That’s why he freezes like he’s being chastised. At least, now he’s realizing that isn’t his 'little cousin’ anymore. She’s got the heart of the Hiryuu. And he knows it. He sees it. Anyways, back to this. The kingdom. Well, what is he planning to do? From what he said, King Il had it all wrong. He was too 'weak’. Then, of course, we saw all the poverty within the Fire Tribe and such. To which, Tae Jun became a patron and supporter of his own people. So, far, Soo-won has gathered the five tribes and united the people. And from what I’ve seen, he doesn’t want to believe that some dragon people are going to snatch it from him. Along with their king. I’m sure he knows who. He’s met the dragons. Nothing has been left to the imagination. You would think he’d give up. No, he already murdered to come this far. He already has declared war against Xing Kingdom. He already had emotionally scarred his friends and himself. Besides, to turn around now…what would that do to his pride? He has people under his thumb and around his finger, what about them? They’d probably murder him. But what would he say to that? “I still have things to do.” Things that exclude marriage, friends or anything frivolous. He’s an honest to goodness King. But what are his plans? I’ll tell you.

He wants to completely destroy Kouka. Not in ruins. Maybe some people will die. But Soo-won seems to have a 'survival of the fittest’ mindset. Perhaps that’s why he liked Hak and maybe disregarded Yona. She was spoiled and weak. That’s why he’s in for such a rude awakening. That’s why he’s having to readjust to her. Her attitude. But, when something has already been built, you have to tear it down to rebuild it and bend it to your will. Sandcastles, blocks, houses, even. So, no. Things won’t be on fire and there won’t be drastic war everywhere you look. By uniting the tribes, warring against them for peace and gaining the people’s trust, he’s breaking it all down from how King Il had it. Remember, just because something is quiet, doesn’t mean it’s at peace.

As for Hak and Yona, they’re still being fairly awkward with each other. I know this chapter was a bit late. Sorry~ As always, thank you Ms. Mizuho Kusanagi for your hard work.
