how many ways can we spend the days looking forward to the next page cause you're here to stay in the mundane and the epic there's always a reason to be excited from sunrise to sunset soft words make beelines towards the horizon all day every date stories are still being written so you know you are a gift and life is better with you in it

it's not all about me but all about us with acceptance and forgiveness trusting the process love covering weakness together making progress seeing and knowing that you are special and perfect to me

always had trouble being decisive pared things down to the difference of a few dollars but this time I know it's different now I'm thinking about love and commitment all it took was one conversation and words started free flowing some say the heart knows before the brain some say it's intuition I think it's just God-given one goal two hearts and determination let's run with it and see the ages nothing lost and nothing gained without a reason I want to love like I mean it

swept the house and scrubbed the tiles reflections in glass rainbows inside out made room for love reorganised every corner strung lights in every dark place cause I knew you were coming a kiss and a hug waiting the cherry on top of everything cause you are the reason this house is still standing forevermore love lives here

a flicker turns into a flame the fire of love dancing across the page dry ink waking to sure words burning passion from the wellspring of love always and forever flowing endlessly folding love letters from my heart to the sea

it wouldn't be a story without some tension and it wouldn't be perfect without your love true romance making a way through sea and land and language and time moving heaven and earth so I could be yours and you could be mine a tale as old as time my heart's singing because I know it's a foregone conclusion as surely as the Son is risen we're going to live happily ever after because you're the story with no ending

love is poetry written as a word caught in a feeling seen through a verb known in your person wrapped in an embrace and sealed with a kiss love just is

never knew the power of love until I met you undeniable recognition needs no words just knowing and I know we're going to make it because you laid everything on the table and gave me all of you so let's write a story for the ages seal it with a kiss for good measure too this epic starts with love and concludes with I do

let's be real for real for ever no masks no facades nothing hidden nothing added just you the real you and me the real me

every morning I wake up with you on my mind wondering how the day will go and the story yet to be told as much as I want to skim the words flip the chapters and read the end what is written is yet to be and what I've read is just the start of our epic love story as long as you're in every letter every word every page every moment every beginning and every end every night I'll think of you and know the conclusion will be worth the wait

It's the little things like imagining the warmth of hot buttered toast on a cold sunny day a cup of hot tea and a spoonful of honey (if I’m feeling it) that makes me so grateful for all the possibilities and everything you are and everywhere we're going and every happy feeling you give me
