I HAD THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE. for a little context im a MASSIVE THH-head and i got into dr before v3 was a thing so dr1 content was just absolutely STEAMROLLED by sdr2 EVERYTHING. and as much as i try to puzzle out and rightly pick up on why it is people like him by reading analysis after analysis... HE STILL ANNOYS ME AND IM NOT ENDEARED TO HIM AT ALLLLL. like at a certain point ive just accepted its just nostalgia bias + personal preference but i have no love in my heart for that guy.
