It would've made Sylvana's whole *thing* for werewolves at the very least be rooted in 'I married a human and he left me. Over my dead body is that happening to my daughter.' Instead of outright (fictional werewolf) fetishization.

It would've made a far more dramatic reveal that Aph is half werewolf. Kinda a metaphor about how children, while they love their parents, will never fully know them.

It could've added world building on werewolf and mei'fwa discrimination. If you spin it like Sylvana as a single mother struggled with finding a job, often times rejected due to being a werewolf, she chose to start hiding her ears and tail, leaving that box blank, even moving towns to ensure nobody knew she wasn't human. As time went on she forgot what her ears and tail even looked like.

It adds layers to her and Aphmau's talk before Aph turned. Picture this, a mother who had to pretend to be human, and a daughter who chose to not be.

The possible implication that the reason Slyvana didn't like Aaron was because she could sense he was the ultima. And the lore implications that could bring.
