some art for @creatingblackcharacters Melanin Beam Challenge!!!

First up is Frieren since she was the first character i thought of for this! Inspired by some wonderful Black cosplayers on insta like hannah.sherlie

Then we got Hakumei and Mikochi-- this manga/anime is near and dear to my heart and it is an honor to melanin beam the girlies.

It's about both of them living together in a tree trunk going about their lives as tiny people. Mikochi is a seamstress who also makes various home goods for a local store, while Hakumei is a carpenter/handyman. Peak slice of life calming vibes.. but not many Black characters? There's background charas in a couple places they visit but no one on the main cast which is a shame! So they're getting the beam. (They're both meant to be Blasian here, with Hakumei still being ginger since that had, like, plot relevance)
