I love wanting a perfect vector shape and just not getting one out of what I drew.

I love the weird gaps that it creates when I clearly drew a closed shape.

I love the fact that no matter how I draw the boxes, they will always be slightly crooked when viewed next to the edge of the page.

I love trying to resize a shape, only for it to alter the very specific line width I wanted for that shape.

I love having to do a quick-time event to change what type of polygon is created, and then when I do tap the dropdown, the shape I wanted isn’t there.

I only use it to draw arcs, straight lines, and sometimes circles. Any polygon shapes I want to draw, I just draw straight lines so I can control where they start and end

If I want lines parallel with the edge of the page, I Always go into Canvas Settings, click the Drawing Guide on and off (or leave it on if I actually want the guidelines) and make sure Drawing Assist is on for the layer I want. Perfectly straight horizontal and vertical lines. Box time.

So circles are now the only closed shape I'm using the quickshape tool for, and I usually just draw a little extra, like a circle and a quarter, so the shape closes fine.

I haven't had an issue with editing the shape within the quickshape editor and the line width changing? Sometimes it looks like it does, but then I close the editor and it changes back to the normal line width in the new shape. Sorry I can't help here.

When the shape I want isn't in the dropdown (usually happens when i want an arc but it only gives me straight line or ellipses), I just redraw the line in a more exaggerated shape and edit it to what I want from there.

Days 3-6
