To my understanding, it will be a two disc set with a making of on the second. ***The DVD is Region 2 locked, so it won’t play in American players. The Blu-Ray has no region encoding, and will play in any player.***

The swag appears to be a “2L Bromide.” It’s likely a few other sellers will have swag of their own. I checked and you can pre-order these at Animate, but only shipping within Japan, and the vanilla Amazon copies are the cheapest you’re going to get either way. I paid 9500Y at the musical, and apparently I’ll be getting a ticket to an event I can’t go to, because I am now very poor.

“But Giovanna,” you might say, “I don’t speak Japanese!!” Don’t worry. 1. The musical is a very faithful recounting of the first arc, and I promise you you’ll have no problem following along for the most part. 2. A translation will be available. I promise. You trust me, right?

While much of the Voltron fandom was being born I was a kid falling madly in love with an anime called Vision of Escaflowne. To this day it remains my favorite anime. Keith is a LOT like one of the two main characters in the show (only here he’s protecting Allen instead of Hitomi), and the others… just kinda fell into place. Millerna (Allura) and Dryden (Lance) are especially uncanny.

Sorry for the long post, but I finally can share these pics from a photoshoot I did as Indian Princess Allura at the beautiful Shri Swaminaryan (Hindu) Temple in New Jersey! I was SO stoked with doing this after dreaming since last year to cosplay her representing more or less my ethnic culture. It was so much fun and hella nerve-wracking ‘cause though you can’t tell here, there were ALOT of people there who, of course, stared the eff outta me as if I came from an alien planet (which yah, makes sense with Allura). Some of them thought I was a statue from the temple! (makes sense too ‘cause I blended in really well). Overall it was a fantastic experience and I owe it to my wonderful photographer friend, Rhea Khan, for these fantastic pics. I think I’ll do more in the future ‘cause you know me and Indian Aus.
