i won't lie all the stuff with the systemality app is very concerning to me. the dev is basically saying they plan to stalk every single user's connected socials in order to "prevent endos from using the app" and not only is that weird as fuck but it's also very easy to bypass by people lying on their accounts saying they're traumagenic or anti endo when they're not. what are you gonna do then, find their address and strap them to a lie detector test?

it's one thing to be anti endo, it's another thing to sacrifice your users' safety and security with your project all for the sake of keeping specific people from using them. your users will not feel safe with the fact that you're admitting to planning to stalk all of their socials to "verify" them for your app no matter how you try to put it. and what if they don't list anything related to their system on their socials for privacy and safety reasons? are you going to accuse them of being endo or, even worse, accuse them of being singlets and ban them too? not everyone openly talks about their system online, and expecting them to risk their safety over an app that's supposed to be prioritizing aiding those with their disorder is absolutely vile.

it's a real shame because I did support this project before, but I refuse to support something that's made by someone focused more on endos than on making an aid for a disabled community. endos are not worth THAT much of your time or effort. that effort would be better spent on the app itself.

My name is Gate. I am a Mega Man X fictive and I go by he/it (sometimes robot). I am the system’s prosecutor (protector + persecutor) and a mediator. I am not source attached, like the majority of others in this system nor do I care to be source-compliant.
