So, it has been an interesting summer, weather not too bad at all, Cornwall ticked over very nicely, although quieter than in years gone by, which will have suited lots of our cottage visitors. I thought I should remind folk that we are still alive and kicking. Our cottages all have their heating ticking over, so if you fancy an out of season short break in a place that will keep your toes warm…

Here at Ruby Farmhouse Holiday Cottages we have been seeing lots of sun down in Cornwall. At last! It has been wonderful. The magnolia’s have flowered and not got blown away. We are surrounded by primroses at Ruby Farmhouse and the leaves are appearing on all our trees. Quite obviously, it is my favourite time of the year. Sadly, we do need some rain, the grass is very slow on the growing front…

The sun has been out, the Daffodils and Primroses are popping up out of the ground. It will be Magnolia time before we know if and what better place to see these beautiful trees, than in Cornwall.     Well, It’s that time of year again. Our decorators have been and given lots of TLC to Ruby Cottage. Next week they will turn their attention to Kernyk Cottage and finally our smallest, Dingley Cottage. In the meantime, I turn my thoughts to our guests.
