and Final-Frame Rendering” report, so I have some reading to do during my lunch break!
‼️ NOTE it is unknown if these are actual renders from Toy Story 5. They could be concept images created specifically for this article, but regardless, with the updates to technology, the characters in this report look GORGEOUS!!
I am a geek and LOVE how this article delves into interfacing, CPU/GPU production, ray tracing, and MORE, especially talking about the creation of Jessie and Buzz!
By the way for anyone that might be wondering, this is the reason the new Toy Story renders look washed out/unfinished/with the contrast lowered too much/just weird. The renderer Pixar uses has a rewrite that speeds up the process (rendering time is a huge pain in the ass production wise, and the whole process is costly) but lowers the quality
