Mercury and Venus really function as second Suns, at least personality wise. Their importance is often downplayed in casual discussions around astrology. Like itβs fascinating how Mercury and Venusβ position alters the Sunβs personality in terms of how an individual will be perceived. They can kill stereotypes of Sun signs too. When you get the bigger picture (Mercury and Venus) you can actually see how a person operates relationally, socially, and mentally. Their receptiveness can even be more-so determined by Mercury and Venus than the Sun. The Sun is actually a lot more personal than we tend to think. It says a lot about our lifestyle interests, but it wonβt tell you how one interacts with others which is what others tend to see before the overarching Sun personality.
There is nothing I love more than guessing a personβs sign when I first meet them. Sometimes itβs incredibly easy for me after asking questions about their lifestyle, but thereβs also been many times Iβve felt like Iβve had anΒ βa-ha!β moment only to discover it was their Mercury shining through the way they were speaking to me.Β
