Being rejected as the green ninja was a big hit to his heart because for once he just wanted to be wanted or at least useful and like op said this has led Kai to never really explore his true personality. He defines himself by how useful he is, mostly his power, and when he loses it he becomes a shell of a person.

Kai and Pixal. Pixal is just consistently done with Kai’s shit in Rebooted specifically and it’s hilarious.

Cole and Plundar prior to Plundar accepting Cole’s leadership. It’s literally just constant flurries of “YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE DOING” from Plundar then “HES TRYING TO GET US OUT OF THIS MOUNTAIN” from Vania getting defensive of Cole.

Kai and Skylor. Kai’s so macho around other people then he gets within a 100 foot radius of Skylor and everything comes crashing down and suddenly he’s the most awkward person in existence and it’s hilarious.

Jay and Nya. They didn’t go with “guy defends girl” for their relationship dynamic, they went the complete opposite, and I absolutely adore it. It’s adorable honestly. I think the episode that really exemplifies this dynamic between them is Queen of the Munce.

The New Ninja. Their team dynamic is so funny and as obnoxious as they are I love them just for their dynamic. The entire team is just done with Teal Ninja’s bullshit and it’s hilarious.

Pythor and Aspheera. Every single time they’re in a scene together Pythor looks like he’s about one “REVENGEEEE” away from murdering her and it’s hilarious.

Lloyd and Harumi in Return to Primeval’s Eye. Harumi tries so hard to manipulate Lloyd and make advances on him but his mentality the entire episode is “I’m sick of your shit Harumi”

The team dynamic with the ninja, Pixal, and Wu. Pixal and Wu are the only two on the team with functioning braincells once season 11 comes around and I fucking LOVE IT.

The dynamic with Kai, Cole, and Jay. Not a single braincell between the three of them yet they somehow manage to get more done than Lloyd, Nya, and Zane when they’re split into those teams.

The dynamic between Lloyd, Nya, and Zane. They have a single braincell between them but still manage to get absolutely nothing done.

Pixal’s dynamic with the team. One glare and everyone shuts up and I love it. She just. Commands the room.

Those two ice fishers. I don’t remember their names but they’re the two Cole tries to save by grabbing their pickaxe. Once again, no braincells between them.

Zane and Pixal. ESPECIALLY in Ninjago Confidential. Pixal is so done with Zane’s shit all the fucking time and it’s hilarious.

Nya and Nyad. They have such a sweet dynamic honestly. I love it so much.

Bentho and the ninja. It’s so fun to watch Bentho interact with Jay, Zane, Lloyd, and Nya (and eventually Kai and Cole too). Especially when Jay’s just being himself. Bentho looks so so confused xD

Kai and Jay. I don’t think I need to add anything. If you know you know.
