It’s a good thing it’s back to cool weather right now. Easier to deal with bundling up a bit inside than sweltering.

And hopefully once my nervous system settles in a bit more, I’ll feel less awkward. All my brain energy is focused on absorbing and learning and being hyper vigilant about not knowing what I don’t know about the place and dynamics among people and departments yet before I make a decision or chip in to a conversation (plus, um, all the shit happening in the world???). Eventually I’ll feel more productive and confident again, AND surely like a fairly normal human again. Because who even am I? Am I feeling this question because of how time it was to leave my last job? Or because I’ve been in another kind of stress and overdrive for a few weeks now and haven’t had much time to remember?
