“Evil is a point of view” . This quote by Anne Rice is also what best defines Wendigo. He poses all bad, with many controversial symbols and he embraces the deviant role but he knows he isn’t all that. To be honest, he is by far one of the less “evil” characters in the story. He has (for sure) his amount of villainy (not to forget where his name came from) but his actions are more pure and true than many other characters seeing as “heroes” (or so to say). Wendigo devoted his heart to the woman he loved for life, he protected his family even years later, he defied Zeus and his gigantic “worshipper gathering corporation” and even raised up and gave space to those who are frequently outspoken (like Baron). In the role of God’s biggest questioner, he brought debate to the divine world. You can imagine how many enemies he made after that (specially Zeus 😂) but that’s material for another post. As you might know, yesterday was a very sad day 😢 the world lost a great artist that was Anne Rice and it hurt me as if I had lost a family member… I must admit it was the first time I actually felt deep sorrow after someone famous passed and it’s a bad feeling 😢 Her work was very dear to me and it’s thanks to her that I’ve invested so intensely in my writing career. I often think about how lucky I was that I had the pleasure to sit by Anne Rice’s side and tell her how much I admired her work and how thankful I was. That’s probably something she heard a thousand times before me, but still, she hugged me and spoke to me with kindness. That was magical because I was surrounded by doubt and insecurities, but then she said “write. Just do it.” And everything went away. So now, I’m writing. And I can only be thankful. I share with you the characters from my vampire novel that hopefully will add to the goth genre she basically created. I hope her work keeps inspiring many other artists and that her legacy remains immortal, just like it should. Many things happened and I’m now trying to bring back some dolls I didn’t play for a while, specially this guy who is part or the vampire novel I’m finishing. His name is Nightmare and he is a giant pop culture mix of references that were important to me and I deeply love this character. He is a vampire who’s really fast and fights with a chainsaw. In this world vampires can only be fast, strong or mind controlling. There are no other skills and they can only develop one of those 3, according to the color of their eyes. Lilac eyes means speed, green eyes means strength and blue eyes means mind control. Nightmare is one of the most powerful speed vampires and he moves so fast that even his image fades from the eyes of the viewers. His mind is also so fast he puts up a great fight against mind controlling vampires cause they can’t capture his chaotic thoughts as their frequency is so high, mind controlling vampires can’t follow. But it wasn’t always like that. In the past, Nightmare was a victim of great torture, which was the reason he became so chaotic and trained his brain to get used to insanity, so no one would ever want to get in within his head ever again. After YEARS Nikus is back now thaf he has a body on which he actually fits 😓 Zaoll heads are always hard to match on SD boy bodies but I finally found one that works and I’m happy with the results 🥰💙 of course I couldn’t wait to photograph him with his teenage dream boyfriend~ Trick and Nikus are often mistaken by siblings because they kind of look alike but it’s just because they spend a lot of time together. They act similarly and both happen to be blonde 😂 but they’re not relatives. Also, Nikus looks a bit younger but he is just tiny 😂 (which reminds me a bit of Mikey from the anime Tokyo Revengers 😍) Nikus actually is kinda inspired by Yuri Plisetsky from Yuri On Ice.
