Whump, There It Is

Here we are again! The second year of AitCM!

It's a good month to whump our favorite characters!

In AitCM, to complete, you only have to write 15 days, and the other fifteen days you read & rec a fic that fits one the prompts for the day. (Feel free to create and promote art pieces as well!)

This not only makes it easier to fit into a busy schedule, but it helps promote your favorite writers!

You are more than welcome, of course, to write all thirty days or rec all thirty days—or both—but that is not necessary to complete the challenge.

This poor man is so drained—from staying close at the hospital, from arguing with a stubborn kid who's not supposed to be there, but who deserves to be, from trying to take care of the rest of the team, from trying to pretend he's not falling apart.

This man. This beautiful, loving man—who would do anything at all for his son, who is exceptional at communicating when it comes to Christopher—he couldn't bring himself to do more than shake his head in frustration when his son asked this question.

Probably the only thing going through his head is Chimney telling him that intubation likely wouldn't save Shannon and fearing what that means for Buck. And Eddie can't talk because he can't say goodbye to someone again, he might not survive it.

Stolas makes it absolutely, crystal clear that he is going to give Blitzø the Asmodean crystal, no strings attatched, and step out of his life forever if that's what Blitzø truly wants.

No matter how much it pains him, no matter if he has to spend the rest of eternity alone, he is willing to let Blitzø go.

He knows that a huge part of what's driving them apart and hurting Blitzø is himself and his actions.

Even though he vows to make amends, to be better, to try to understand Blitzø's pain, he acknowledges the possibility that there's nothing he can do to mend the rift between them.

He knows that the choice to stay by his side is ultimately Blitzø's to make. Even if it destroys him, he's not going to take that choice away from him.
