Imagine you’re an astronaut visiting an alien planet for the first time and you find out they already speak American English cause they keep the guy you thought died years ago in a zoo. He loves being in the zoo, and offers you a burger made from his own meat. Also he named all the aliens after movie characters so you have no choice but to call the alien president Batman.

The dichotomy between Jason dying because he disobeyed Batman and Stephanie dying specifically because she was trying to follow his rules is so good, and yet so under utilized.

I have a lot of feelings about Stephanie and her relationship to the Wayne fortune, but I think what it ultimately boils down to is I don't think she would ever put herself in a position where Bruce could take her life away again. He's already done that once when he ripped away Robin and Spoiler, she wouldn't give him another chance. Even years in the future when she's comfortable and they're on good terms, I don't think she would be able to ever let him support her because if he has any control over her life then there's always the chance he'll back slide, and she will not be caught in that position a third (fourth?) time.
