One of the funniest things about Mormonism is that I’m sure Joseph Smith never believed any of the bullshit he said. His wife caught him cheating and he said an angel visited him and told him men should be allowed multiple wives and not obeying that would send her to hell. I’m fairly convinced that dude was an atheist. He was on that hustler grindset. Brigham Young might have actually believed some of the shit he said but I don’t think Joseph Smith genuinely had faith in Mormonism or gave a fuck about humanity in the slightest.
Few people hustle and scam so hard that they’re considered a martyr and a prophet 200 years later and their fanfiction is considered serious lost biblical scripture even though they stole lines from Shakespeare.
How fucking privileged I am to go on a 6 hour hike on vacation without any training. Truly appreciating my youth and health again today. Maybe I should do more for my body it's so good to me.

Okay but what kills me abt the whole missing our flights is. We had booked a rental car. When we landed in Munich we called immediately to ask if they could put the car on hold. They said we'd have to call check24 for that. So we do that and they tell us they can't do anything if we can't give them a flight number, which we didn't have bc we were stranded and not yet rebooked. So we wait in line for 3.5 hours to get a different booking. Call back to check24 and they fucking tell us they can't hold the car now because we are calling so late after our pick up time. And it's just. This is the world we live in. Fuck.
